Dear Thirumalai,

APPOINTMENT LETTER

With reference to your application, subsequent tests and interview you


had with us, we are pleased to appoint you as “Senior Executive -
Admin”, with Seven Worldwide India Pvt.Ltd – Chennai on the following
terms and conditions with effect from 9th September 2004.
1. You will be on probation for a period of six months duration with
Seven World Wide.
2. During the probation period, you will receive a compensation of Rs.
15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) per month. The details of
your Salary Components are laid out in the annexure at the end of this
letter.

3. During the training period and until the time you are confirmed in the
regular cadre of the company, your employment can be terminated by
giving 1 month notice or payment of 1 months’s Gross Salary in lieu
thereof, by either side.
4. You shall be regular in your attendance and abide by rules and
regulations or orders including disciplinary and safety regulations
issued by the management from time to time and as given in the
Employee Handbook (It is in your best interest that you go through it
and understand, abide by the same)
 Absence for a continuous period of seven days without prior
Approval of your superior, (including overstay of leave), can lead to
your services being terminated without notice or explanation.
5. Your appointment is subject to your being found medically fit at all
times.

6. Given the nature of work you are undertaking, you will be required to
work in shifts, which may include night shifts. Your weekly offs will
thus be decided based on the roster for your team, which may change
from time to time.
7. You are required not to divulge or disclose, at any time, matters
relating to the business or dealings of this company or any of its
principles, agents or other persons who might have dealings with the
company which may come to your knowledge in the course of your
employment or otherwise.

8. You will also be required to sign a standard confidentiality, non-


disclosure and non-compete agreement with the company.

9. You shall devote your whole time and attention to learn and absorb
the training being imparted to you during the training period and
carry out diligently and to the best of your ability the training
assignments given to you by the management.

10. You will be governed by the rules and regulations of the


company as may be in force or amended from time to time. You will be
required to apply and maintain the highest standards of personal
conduct and integrity and comply with all Company policies and
procedures.

11. The Company may, at its sole discretion, transfer you to any
other office in India or overseas or to any of our Affiliates. In such
case, you will also be bound by any policy of this other office or
Affiliate, in existence at the date of this Agreement or that may be
subsequently framed by the Company or the Affiliate. You will also be
expected to make visits and travel both within India and overseas, as
may be necessary for the proper discharge of your duties.

12. You shall retire at the age of 55 years.

13. Upon separation from the Company on account of either


resignation or termination, you need to immediately return to the
Company all the assets and property of the Company including
Proximity Card, documents, files, books and papers in your possession
or custody.

14. The appointment is subject to production of documents that


need to be submitted by you ( a list of which is provided in the

annexure-Joining Checklist) in support of your qualifications and
experience.
