Fringe benefit of failure and importance of imagination.

People love success stories, but freak out at the prospect of failure. If you want success in any
aspect of your life, then you have to embrace failure and build on the benefits it generates.

There are four keys to unlocking the benefits of failure. Mastering these four will yield five
major benefits.

1: Face your fear

"The enemy is fear. We think it is hate; but, it is fear" Gandhi

Fear squeezes the willpower out of us to pursue our better future. It locks us up in the jailhouse
of status quo and false security. If you want to break free, then you have to face your fears one
by one. Yes, everything can go wrong and you can hit rock bottom. You will survive. OK, now
that that is over, you can move on and take action.

2: Face the facts

"Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough" Elon Musk

Ouch! You failed. Everything did go wrong. You have officially failed. Face the facts. This
particular experiment did not work out the way you envisioned. They key is to leverage it and
advance.

3: Feast on your failure

"All sorrows are less with bread." Miguel de Cervantes

Once you have failed, I suggest hosting an actual feast. Make the best meal ever, invite your best
and brightest friends to join you and then feast on your failure. While you savor great food, drink
and friendship; feast on every possible lesson learned from the failure. Invite candid feedback
and reflections. Insights are the perfect dessert.

A good outcome is that you have a set of useful lessons learned. The best result will be fresh
opportunities and potential resources to advance. At a minimum, you will have commiserated,
cleared the air of any fear and put yourself in a place to start anew.

4: Forge ahead

"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." Winston Churchill

Failure is final if you refuse to get up, dust yourself off and get back in the game. The key is to
build on the lessons learned and forge ahead.
Additionally, there are 5 major benefits of failure.

Clarity: Crisis creates clarity. Failures force us to clear out the noise and zero in on what is most
important.

Champions: True champions stick by your side during the tough times. Thankfully fair weather
friends disappear when the waters get rough.

Creativity: Failure creates constraints. You must level up your creativity to generate fresh
possibilities and attract new resources to implement the new vision.

Grit: If you get slammed by a failure and bounce back that is called resilience. If you learn,
adjust and actually return better than before, then you have grit.

Freedom: Failure strips you of your notion of invincibility. Accepting your failure takes an act
of humility. If you own your failure, you are liberated. You can now go about your business
without the constant pressure to appear to be perfect.

The only thing that make ordinary person an extra ordinary is their efforts ,their never giving up
sprit .They also have same 24 hours which we have in one day the only difference is they make
their each hour count. Success doesn’t come overnight, many late night and early morning
working hours ,hardships ,heart break ,heachaces ,suffering ,disappointment play their important
role. If you want success in any aspect of your life, then you have to embrace failure and build
on the benefits it generates. Failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at
something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which
case, you fail by default.

Failure gave us an inner security that we had never attained by passing examinations. Failure
taught us things about our self that we could have learned no other way. I discovered that I had a
strong will, and more discipline than I had suspected; I also found out that I had friends whose
value was truly above the price of rubies.

The knowledge that you have emerged wiser and stronger from setbacks means that you are, ever
after, secure in your ability to survive. You will never truly know yourself, or the strength of
your relationships, until both have been tested by adversity. Such knowledge is a true gift, for all
that it is painfully won, and it has been worth more than any qualification we ever earned. I
would tell myself that personal happiness lies in knowing that life is not a check-list of
acquisition or achievement. Your qualifications, your CV, are not your life, though you will meet
many people with lot of experiences.

There are great person who turned their failure into success without giving up on their dreams
despite of what the other said about them .I believe if you are quit crazy to imagine your dream u
defiantly going to achieve them no matter what it cost in term of hardship.
SOME NOTABLE CHAMPIONS ARE

1. J.K Rowling (author of famous Harry Potter series)

Rowling is the perfect example that success can come to anyone at any time. She is now doing
the backstroke through a pool of Harry Potter money, but that was not always the case. Before
Harry Potter became a success she was a divorced mother, living on welfare, going to school and
trying to write a novel in her spare time.

Rowling herself said she was the “biggest failure I knew” and credits a lot of her success to her
failure.

2 Albert Einstein

If asked to name a genius, most people would come up with the name Albert Einstein. Yet even
for Einstein genius did not come easy. He had speech difficulties as a child and was once even
thought to be mentally handicapped

3. Steve Jobs

Born in 1955, the late Steve Jobs was an iconic billionaire, inventor and entrepreneur responsible
for the one of the most renowned and successful companies to have ever been created — Apple
Computers. Yet, Jobs’ life was filled with failure. Before fame ever graced him and his name
become synonymous with success, he suffered through an enormous number of setbacks.

In his earliest days, Jobs felt unwanted. He was put up for adoption by his mother and was raised
by a blue-collar couple in Palo Alto, California. He dropped out of college and started taking the
courses that were most interesting to him rather than trying to complete his degree. Afterwards,
he opted to travel the world and see places like India where he would study Zen Buddhism.

In 1976, Jobs co-founded Apple Computers with his friend, Steve Wozniak. The company was
highly successful. However, in 1983, Jobs hired John Scully from Pepsi to helm the company as
CEO, which ended up being one of the worst decisions he had ever made. After a disagreement
with Scully, and a foiled plan by Jobs to oust the new CEO, Jobs resigned from Apple and quit,
taking 5 employees with him to start his new business venture, NeXT.

Mathama Ghandi ,Amitabh Bachan, Milkha Singh, Mary Kom , Charli Camplin
,Abrahim linchon and the list is endless .They are also ordinary people like us but the decided
to face their failure despite of running away from them .

Now the other thing which I want to talk is power of imagination .You might be hear that all big
business is start with one single idea .Now what is that single idea .It is just an imagination done
by someone about something which other could not imagine. Imagination is not only the
uniquely human capacity to envision that which is not, and therefore the fount of all invention
and innovation. In it’s arguably most transformative and revelatory capacity, it is the power that
enables us to empathize with humans whose experiences we have never shared. Unlike any other
creature on this planet, humans can learn and understand, without having experienced. They can
think themselves into other people’s places. One might use such an ability to manipulate, or
control, just as much as to understand or sympathise.

And many prefer not to exercise their imaginations at all. They choose to remain comfortably
within the bounds of their own experience, never troubling to wonder how it would feel to have
been born other than they are. They can refuse to hear screams or to peer inside cages; they can
close their minds and hearts to any suffering that does not touch them personally; they can refuse
to know.

“What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality”

That is an astonishing statement and yet proven a thousand times every day of our lives. It
expresses, in part, our inescapable connection with the outside world, the fact that we touch other
people’s lives simply by existing. If you choose to use your status and influence to raise your
voice on behalf of those who have no voice; if you choose to identify not only with the powerful,
but with the powerless; if you retain the ability to imagine yourself into the lives of those who do
not have your advantages, then it will not only be your proud families who celebrate your
existence, but thousands and millions of people whose reality you have helped change. We do
not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we
have the power to imagine better.

So at the end i hope that even if u remember not a single word of mine ,you remember the
lifestory of great person which I shared with you hoping that this might help you to show right
path somewhere in you life . As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what
matters.
I wish you all very good lives.
