To whom it may concern,

In my four years as a student at EKU I have honed my horticulture research and practice
skills. As a student worker, NCLC participant, and undergrad, I was complimented for my
utilization of resources as week as my ability to implement concepts in real world projects.
As an assistant to the horticulture technician here at EKU where I work closely on several
high priority tasks. During my time here I have worked on an emerging grant that highlights the
importance of horticulture in the community for EKU. This included the preparation, production,
and facilitation of many horticulture events and systems. I received praise for my consistent
performance, ability to trouble shoot, and the strong results I brought forth during my grant
work.
My qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from EKU, training and placement on the
national level at the National Collegiate Landscaping Competition (NALP NCLC), and several
years of experience in the field. This preparation has uniquely prepared me to pursue this
industry.
