History of the company


13th day of September 1857 Milton Snavely Hershey was born. As he grew up he open
his heart and mind in the world of chocolate industry.He was known as a good
chocolatier and philanthropist in Derry Township, Pennsylvania, United States.During
1880's he founded the Hershey company and it was very unbelievable that this man
founded a lot of companies that became "The world’s largest chocolate manufacturing
company". Even if Milton Snavely Hershey died at the age of 88 from then until now
Hershey's chocolate company was still popular in the whole world because of its
innovative products.

2. Scope of their operation


They must be focused on providing or production of foods.They need to know the
different competencies when it comes to business. To know their limitations and
capabilities. Since, it is one of the best production of chocolate they must focused on
the unique taste that they will served/offer. They doesn't need to copy the strategies
of others, improving theirselves especially their business that would make them
succeed.

3.Stratigies to sustain the operation of the business


Sustaining a business makes the business continuously operating. This help the
company proceed to their specific goal and that is to achieve the highest satisfaction of
their costumers. Strategies help the company to obtain their objective. In Hershey's,
they have different kinds of strategies. The management strategy, the operating
strategy, and the production strategy. Under the management strategy keeps the
business stable and persistent in making everything in good condition. They plan the
overall length of strength and measurement of every things inside the company. In
operating strategy, they made a genius trademark to have a huge impact in their
costumers like their famous chocolate. These trademarks makes the business
consistent in operating. The last strategy that we will discuss is the production strategy.
This strategy makes the business reach the quota or the farthest goal of the business.
They make enough production of goods and products to continue the operation and
have a successful mission under the management strategy. All of these sustain the
business and profitable.

4.What are their current effort to improve their operation


Effort should be exerted to maintain the operation of the business, improving their
services and products are good effort to improve the circulation of the business.
Chocolate company like Hershey's exerted an effort to create an innovative products
that help the business earn more revenue and to give their customers more than
satisfaction , Hershey's identified the needs and wants of their customers so that they
can address them. Their effort to make the chocolate tastier and affordable is one of
the best effort and strategy that they can implement. They keep on making good and
delicious food to improve the business and to establish good relationship with their
customers.

5.Lesson learned reflection


*what have you learned as student
As a student I learned how to plan to have a successful business. I can say that it's not
easy to run a business because it needs a huge amount of consideration when it
comes to quality and profitability of the service or product. These activity serves as a
stepping stone of being a successful manager someday it also shows us that there is no
success without hardship.

*As a customer
There was a quote saying "customers are always right". I can say that this qoute gives
us a whole and deep meaning to all consumers and producers. It also enlightens our
mind that all of us must give respect and be respected by anyone. Consumers are the
most important beneficiary of the industry so we must cooperate to them in order to
have an economic growth.

*future manager that you can use.


Dependable,optimistic, confident,calm,encouraging,effective and fair are just some
important characteristics that I've learned to be a good manager. Those characteristics
are the things that will help me to be more successful person someday. I also learned
that being a manager holds a big resonsiblity so it is very much important for a
manager to improve and develop the skills of the employees and not about themselves
in order for them to take a great satisfaction in the successes of the whole company.
