Round 1

In the round 1, we have the rule that each small group can’t give information to other small
group in the 1 big company example: wholesaler can’t ask to retailer about the customer demand.
This situation makes small group confuse and difficult to understand how much demand for
customer. So, in this case we must forecasting the demand with accurately because if we wrong to
forecasting demand, we will have backlog. We must read the demand with considering the demand
of customer that already we serve in several week, we can know how munch customer want and
we can take a largest demand for customer for our reference to order to factory because the factory
have 2 weeks to produce the product. We must have a lot of item in our inventory to avoid the
backlog if we keep some item in our inventory we can to meet consumer demand if there is an
increase in demand because the demand can be increase sometimes and become decrease. We
should choose to pay inventory cost than pay backlog cost. And if we have a lot of item or product
in our inventory, we can decrease our order to factory but we should look at the demand again.

Round 2

In the round 2, we have the rule that each small group can give information to other small
group so in the company we can communication to other. In this situation we must give accurate
information about the customer demand to other small group. In our company we sacrifice our
retailer to have backlog and the other don’t have backlog and our company order as many products
as each small group has item in inventory. So we have 0 inventory and nil backlog. But but we
think that is mistake or wrong our company thinking in the first the retailer should order the product
by considering the biggest demand of customer so the retailer can keep the product in their
inventory because in the round 2 the demand did not experience a significant increase , Retailer
can keep the product in their inventory to meet consumer demand if there is an increase in demand
and the other small group can order with reference from the retailer information so the other small
group will not have backlog.
