    Project Description

    Design a 12 V DC to220 V AC inverter

    Input Voltage: 12 Volts

    Output Voltage: 220 Volts (should support up to 20 W Load)

    Major components to be used:

     Power Transistors
     Power Resistors
     Step Up Transformer

    Must do

    The final circuit should be on a Printed Circuit Board

    Roll numbers of both the group members must be etched on the board

    Input must be given using a 12 V battery

    220 V output should be connected to a bulb with power rating not exceeding 15 W for checking

    Project Deadline: 4th August, 2016


    9:00 am to 2:30 pm in MTS Project Lab, A-Block, Ground Floor
    Students can enter the project lab latest by 1:30 pm on the day of checking otherwise their
    project will not be graded.

    Project report is to be submitted along with project demo. Incase report is not printed at the time
    of checking, project will not be marked.
