Title : Basic Life Support Training

Training
Venue : Brgy. Carpenito Gymnasium
Date : October 30-31 , 2019

I-Rationale:
In accordance with the R.A 10121 an act strengthening the Philippines disaster
risk reduction and management system, providing for the national disaster risk
reduction and management framework and institutionalizing the national disaster
risk reduction and management plan, appropriating funds therefor and for other
purposes.

To equip the Barangay Volunteers, a Red Cross Leadership Development

Program with basic First Aid and Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support Training
will be conducted. This will capacitate them in participating in the rescue and
response operation of the School and the community.

II. Objectives

After the whole activity, the participants are able to:

a. Develop the skills of the students in Basic First Aid and Basic Life Support
b. Apply the skills in basic first aid and basic life support
c. Realize the importance of basic first aid and basic life support in everyday life

III-Description of the Activity:

1. This activity will be participated by the Brgy. Officials, select Carpenito IS Students
and teachers, select Community and Trainers.

2. This activity will be conducted in response to DRRM in partnership with the

MDRRM in establishing Barangay or Youth Volunteers.
3. The training will equip the Barangay Volunteers.
4. The activity aims to give a free service training to the community on how to give
First aid and basic life support in preparation for the unexpected disaster in the
locality.
5. The activity will awards participation to all the participants involved in the said
training.
