 Welcome to my Portfolio

My name is Beatriz May G. Cortez, I live in Cainta,Rizal and I am a STEM student in San
Beda University Rizal for two years. Through all my academic, co-curricular and extra
curricular experience, I’ve gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help me pursue
the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture.

Here are my accomplishments:

 I am a consistent achiever/ honor student since preparatory school

 I used to be the school’s representative for CAMPRISA (Cainta Municipality Private

Schools Association) Quiz Bee's in different subjects

 I was a student council officer during my high school years

I am sure and believe that at this point in my life, there is still more to explore about my
passion and career. And in the process of discovering more of my skills and myself.

My objective is to finish my studies, fulfill my dreams, follow
my passion and achieve my desired career.

Summary of Qualification:
I study hard to achieve my goal in life and I am eager to pursue my dreams. With over 10
years of aiming to do and follow my passion, I would say that I have a considerable
thought and experience. I am ready to explore and learn more about my passion and
dreams. I will never be tired in working hard for what I want. I am aware that it will never
be easy but it is worth it.

The highest area of occupational interest I got was Architecture, which is my preferred
area, next is Computer and Technology. The highest field I got in General Scholastic
Aptitude is the Scientific Ability. Arts and Design Track, Arts Production was my track
first choice and Academic Track Humanities Social Sciences and Science,Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics were the second choice of track.

Based on the result of my NCAE, the result of the Occupational Interest turned out to be
what I expected although some fields were low preference. The preferred tracks and
strands were unexpected too. Most of the areas for tracks were above average. The
result also helped me in deciding which strand I prefer and take.

Personality Test: Panukat ng Pagkataong Pilipino

In terms of Interpersonal Relations, the highest area I got was Obedience and the
Sensitiveness as the lowest. In Personal Traits, Patience is the highest and Honesty is
the lowest. In Intelligence-Creativity, Creativity is the highest and Risk Taking is the
lowest.

With the help of this personality test, I were able to identify the different dimensions and
average of my personalities. It also helped me to improve the traits I lack attention and to
maintain the others. This can also be an additional basis for life lessons and morals.

Achievement Test: Assessment for Senior High School Potential

In my Aptitude test, the highest score I got is in Abstract and Quantitative as the lowest.
My total potential score is 81 which is 54% rank in school and 65% rank nation.

The result of my assessment test were a little different from my NCAE test in terms of
academic track. It is a great help to identify the track that matches my understanding and
interest. It was an unexpected yet productive result. 5
Performance Report Card

During Junior High School, my grades were unexpected because despite joining a lot o
organizations in school, I still managed to focus on my studies. I am glad to receive these
grades and somehow maintain my academic distinction during senior high school years.
Whatever the results of my grades, I will always be grateful and contented for it.

The Bachelor of Science in Architecture is a five year degree that deals with design,
construction technologies, digital arts, the humanities, social sciences, and aesthetic
expression. It is a profession introducing natural and built environment.

Architectural History, Laws and Regulations, Architectural Designs, Conservation and
Sustainability Design, Trend Designs, General Designs, Landscape Architecture, Floor
Plans.

Skills and Character Needed:

My Ability Fit

The useful abilities that I have as of now are my creativity and skills in planning or
designing, although there is still a lot of room for improvement. As time pass by, my
abilities will be tested especially, communication skills and computer skills

My Financial Fit

The course I will take will surely include expensive materials and fees but my parents
would support me for it. I will also try scholarship guarantees to lessen the fees. Also,
through saving money, I can provide some needs for myself.

My Interest Fit

Since I was a kid, I adore making designs and planning. That is why I chose the degree
program BS Architecture. My abilities, like designing, planning, drawing and
mathematical skills, would help me with this degree. I would like to explore Landscape
Architecture. I would also want to join organizations involving environment and music.

My Life Situation Fit

There will be lots of challenges where patience, determination and abilities will be tested.
I might also experience challenges in communication and interaction but I will improve it
through time.
