EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

2018 is the year of many firsts in Holy Cross College of Carigara-College Department. The
academic year 2018-2019 started with a very promising future, especially that the college
department is under a new administration.

The highlights of HCCC’s 2018 are:

1. Orientation and SSC Election

Done on the same day, the students of HCCC were welcomed by the new administration
headed by the new college dean, Dr. Carmina B. Alonzo. After the orientation, 12 college
students were elected into office during the SSC election.

2. Fire and Earthquake drill

The college department conducted Fire and Earthquake drill on June 15, 2018.

3. Acquaintance Party
Students and faculty staff had gathered together during the 2018 Acquaintance Party.

4. Intramurals
This year’s intramurals was held inside the HCCC campus on September 26-27, 2018, with
Yellow Titans being declared as this year’s sports fest champions.
5. Christmas Party
Held on December 14, 2018, the whole college department celebrated this year’s
Christmas Party with a Winter Wonderland theme.

6. The New Corporate Uniform

2018 was also the year the administration had finally decided to change the school
uniform.
7. “The Volumen”
After 23 years, the college department published its own school paper.
