Homeschooling

Homeschooling is an activity like an ordinary school, but it is done at
home. Teachers come to children’s home and teach them like a private course.
This activity started when the royal family brought the teacher to the Palace to
teach them. Nowadays, in order to get the best education for children, parents
prefer to choose homeschooling system.
The positive effects of homeschooling are the parents can protect their children
from bullying and sexual harassment and control the teaching method of the
teacher. Bullying and sexual harassment that become a problem in some school
can make children depressed and it can give bad impact to their future. The
method that teachers use to teach sometimes makes children lost their spirit to
learn. For instance, teachers disparage the children’s ability when they do not
understand the explanation from the teacher or when they get a low score from
the test. In addition, homeschooling also provides more quality time between
parents and their children.
The negative effect of homeschooling is children are lack of interaction and
become an introvert one. It is because their time mostly spent at their home and
they are accustomed to finishing everything by themselves. They do not know
the value of teamwork and it makes them be a conceited person.
To sum up, homeschooling is one of the choices that parents can consider to
give the best education to children.
