Course Title: Organized Crime Investigation


Course Code: CDI 4
Course Credit: 3 Units
Pre-requisite: CDI 1

Course Description: This covers the concept of human rights and victims’ welfare, the nature of transnational and organized crimes, their attributes and
categories. It also includes international and local organized crime groups.
Likewise, it focuses on Interrogation and Interview as well as the rights of the accused during custodial investigation.

Student Outcomes ( SOs) Addressed by the Course:


a. Analyze and interpret data utilizing appropriate investigate tools and techniques to solve common issues and criminological problems.
b. Demonstrate proper response to emergency and threats also local, national ang global crises,
c. Demonstrate effective communication skills in various modes and medium.

1. Apply understanding of the laws, principles and procedure in crime detection and investigation;
2. Evaluate the applicability of the techniques and skills to crime detection and solution.
3. Usage of investigative tools and techniques in the conduct of crime detection and investigation;

5. Demonstrate confidence to participate in various communications situations.
