UN QUIZ BEE

General Guidelines:

 Each year level will be required to choose 6 psarticipants that will participate in the Quiz Bee
competition.
 The participating students from each year level will be drawn by lots.
 The students with the same drawn number will be grouped accordingly.
 6 groups will be competing with each other
 Each group consisting of 1 participant from every year level.
 Coverage for the quiz bee competition will be: History of the UN; Laws; Member countries.
 The Quiz Bee will be held on October 16, 2019 at the Cultural Center.

Mechanics:

 There will be 6 participating group consisting of 1 participant from every year level.
 The Quiz will be divided into 3 rounds: Easy, Average, and Difficult.
 For the easy round each score is equivalent to 1 point. 2 points for the average round and 3 points for
the difficult round.
 A clincher round will be conducted in case there’s a tie.
 The participating group will be provided with illustration boards, chalks and erasers as their instrument
in answering.
 Questions will be in the form of identification.
 Prizes await those who will win the competition.

BULLETIN BOARD and FLAG MAKING COMPETITION

General guidelines:
 Each section from every year level will be required to participate in the competition
 An assigned country from the member countries of the United Nations will be given to each section as
their basis for the bulletin board design, and for the flag making. EXCEPT FOR GRADE 11
 Bulletin boards will showcase the culture and identity of the said country given.
 The flag will be of regular length 18ʺx30ʺ.
 Prizes await those who will win the competition.
 Judging is on October 16, 2019.

For grade 11

 Each section will be divided into 2 groups

 Each group will be assigned with 1 member country of ASEAN.
 The groups will be given a post where they will showcase their creation.
 It should showcase the Culture, Arts, Tradition and History of the country they are assigned to.
 Judging is on October 18, 2019.
CRITERIA:

Bulletin boards provide school or organization with a public space to celebrate community spirit and
post notices, announcements and other important informations.

A bulletin board helps bulletin board creators to refine and sharpen the manner and aesthetic appeal of
which they present information.

c. use of pictures, cartoons and different eye catching fonts and sonts size
