Hello Fonts
ABOUT THIS RESOURCE:
This resource helps students practice adding numbers to 10. Students playing in groups
of 2 or more each take turns rolling a die. On a student’s roll, he should look at the
number on the die to see what number he is adding. Then he picks a number off of
the board and adds the number to it. If he is correct, he marks the space with a
marker (this can be a counter or other manipulative, a dry erase marker if the board
is laminated or a bingo dauber if the board will not be reused). The first student to
get five markings in a row (across, down or diagonally) wins.
Students should think of this as a game of 5 in a Row mixed with Tic-Tac-Toe, so they
should choose spaces that block opponents who are about to win as well as choosing
spaces to complete their own row.
If you enjoyed this resource, please check out my adding to 20 version, which includes
16 game boards! You can find it here
