Personal Statement
I consider myself to be a very polite and well-mannered person. I feel that I take immense care in
my code of dress and in being pleasant. I believe that being pleasant and looking presentable is
an important factor of working life, as it is important to be socially accepted within the
community. I can communicate with others appropriately and in a mature manner. I am
considerate and courteous towards others and sensitive of their feelings. I’m currently in my
second year of a level 3 media production diploma at Carlisle college where I try to spend most of
my time improving myself and my skills, I enjoy making short films and videos for fun but also
for practice. I am proficient using multiple editing software’s (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro,
Davinci Resolve). I’m currently working with a production studio as a part-time editor and
camera operator.
I see myself as helpful and reasonably co-operative within groups, although I can also work well
individually. I am very enthusiastic in many ways. I don't mind taking risks; however I do
consider the consequences before my actions.
