What skills do I currently have?

 I am proficiently skilled in the editing software’s Final cut
pro, Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition
 I have directed, edited and produced many projects in and
outside of college.
 I have successfully completed a two-year creative drama
course in communication and social skills.
I’ve achieved a 5 grade electric guitar certification

 I was awarded best director and best film in my first year

of my level 3 media production diploma college course.
 I’ve had experience as an editor for a professional
production studio
 I have certifications in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and
Excel
 I’ve had experience as a camera operator and am
competent in the use of many different cameras.
What skills am I interested in developing?
 I’d like to improve my knowledge of sound design/mixing
and execution of folly
 I feel I could develop my skill in cinematography a bit
more
 I’d like to improve my screen writing skills
 I’d like to work on my directorial skills, especially in
working with actors
What am I interested in studying?
 I’m interested in studying directing and cinematography
What type of course would be most suitable for me?
 A course that focused on film practises while also having
great facilities and tech whilst also having a wide array of
different topics to focus on, including directing skills,
screen writing and general production skills.

Where would I like to live while studying and why?

I would like to live in a city like Newcastle or Manchester
for the key reason that they have studios that I could try
and get work/experience, even if its just being an extra or
even being a runner, it would be great experience. I would
also like the fact how easy the transport would be and
living in a city would be a new enjoyable experience for
me.
How will I travel to university from home?
I plan to live in student accommodation for the first year
of university then finding somewhere to live in the city.
Think about what I want to do in my leisure time. What
type of place would be suitable for me?
Again I think a city would be perfect for me because there
would be studios that I could try and get work and
transport would be super easy because of the amount of
public transport.
