b. Double BEEP (If speakers are attached with Computer)
c. Showing your Picture (If Picture is uploaded in system by Division Admin]
d. Displaying your CHECK-IN TIME.
In case you see your information and Check-In time on screen, CHECK-IN Process is completed
successfully. [You can also verify your details from ePORTAL or ANDROID app. as explained above in Question 01]
QUESTION 03: How I can make sure my CHECK-OUT Time is recorded by Biometric Attendance System?
ANSWER:

Attendance System.
Once your fingerprint is scanned successfully and you are verified by the Attendance System [by
comparing your current scan with your already scanned Fingerprint (at the time of Registration for
Biometric)], Biometric Attendance System will give CHECK-OUT confirmation by:
a. Showing your information on screen
QUESTION 04: I have marked my CHECK-OUT but system is showing my Worked Hours as ZERO?
ANSWER:
Please note that:
CHECK-OUT is recorded in system ONLY when you Mark SUCCESSFUL CHECK-OUT (as described
above in QUESTION 03) using CHECK-OUT SCREEN [RED Colored].
In case you tried marking using CHECK-IN SCREEN [GREEN Colored] or using WHO AM I? [GOLD
Colored], CHECK-OUT will NOT be recorded in system.
When CHECK-OUT is not recorded, and system have only CHECK-IN value, Hours Worked for that
date are ZERO and hence Difference of Hours [Hours Worked - Office Hours] is shown as -8.5
QUESTION 05: Does if someone works on Saturday or Sunday, the Total Working Hours calculated by
system will also show hours of Saturday or Sunday (as total worked hours)?
ANSWER:
Yes. If an employee works (by marking CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT) on his/her LEAVE day or on HOLIDAY
[Saturday, Sunday] or on any Public Holiday (like 14th August), worked hours {CHECK-OUT – CHECK-IN} are
calculated and are included in Total Worked Hours.
QUESTION 06: One employee had to sit so late that it went beyond 12 midnight, which means if that
person checks out then he will have –8.5 hours shown instead of extra hours. So what is the solution?
ANSWER:
NESPAK employees are working in one shift of 07:30 hours to 16:00 hours (with upper and lower limits
from 00:00 hours to 23:59 hours). On date change @12:00 midnight, attendance of previous day is locked
and system initializes it for next day. So, cases, where employees sit in office beyond date change (i.e.
after 12 midnight, they should check-out before 23:59 hours so that their office hours are calculated for
current date and in case they want to continue working for next day, they can check-in again after 12).
Please note, Marking CHECK-IN or CHECK-OUT again and again on SAME Opened Screen (Without
switching screens to record a sequence of CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT), will not record subsequent times.
Only first time of IN or OUT is recorded on SAME Open Screen of CHECK-IN or CHECK-OUT.
QUESTION 09: What if I came to know at some later point of time that my CHECK-OUT was not marked
on a Previous Date?
ANSWER:
Please note, Biometric Attendance System is an automated tool and works as per configured rules of
no editing of any type recorded data, thus any type of change is not possible/allowed in system and
any such cases where CHECK-OUT is not marked for any date, CHECK-OUT time is considered same as
of CHECK-IN time for calculation of Worked Hours, thus resulting in -8.5 hours difference.
You are requested to make sure your successful CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT to avoid any such scenario
in future. [You can verify your details from ePORTAL or ANDROID app. as explained above in Question 01]
