BOTH: Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen & welcome to the 2018 Intramurals, Literary, Musical and

Dance Competition of ACLC College of Iriga City, with its theme ”Developing Youth of the 21st Century
through Unity, Camaraderie, and Sportsmanship.”Held here at the University of North Eastern
Philippines, Gymnasium.

JW: My name is Jewel Morana, a senior here at ACLC College,

M: And I am Jessamine Blancada, ACLC Faculty.

BOTH: And we are very proud to serve as your Masters of Ceremonies in this wonderful event
showcasing talents and sportsmanship among AMANIAN’S.

M: On such a day as today with so many brilliant, skillfull and gifted students, who may be anxious at
this very moment, if you’re thinking of surrendering.. I encourage you to ponder among these words of
wisdom of ROY BENNETT, to “NOT FEAR FAILURE BUT RATHER FEAR NOT TRYING.” Well, looking at you I
can see that you have that spirit of not giving up.

JW: Honored guests, Faculty members, students, friends, voulunteers and all the fans of the
participants.. WELCOME to this stage, where we all come together to help create an individual and team
stories of competition, inspiration, determination, sportsmanship, and friendship.

M: We invite you all to stand for an invocation to be given to us by Mia Ruth Yaguel SCO Officer, to be
followed immediately by the singing of the National Anthem, to be conducted by Madam Desiree
Penones, ACLC Faculty.

JW: To formally open the program, let’s all welcome one of the enthusiastic SCO Advisers, Ms. Sunshine
De Lima to give us her opening remarks.

M: Thank you very much Mam Shine De lima. Now to inspire and delight us, especially the contestants ,
let us welcome on stage our dearest School Directress, Dr. Emmalyn P. Sirios to grace us with her
inspirational message, please give her a round of applause.

JW: Thank you very much Ma’am Emmalyn for that very touching message. We come now to the
presentation of the board of judges to be given to us by Angelica Eclarinal, SCO Vice President.

M: Thank you very much Angelica, I can see that our panel of judges are indeed well chosen, I repeat we
have with us Mr./Ms.___________________, Mr./Ms.___________________, and
Mr./Ms.________________.

JW: Now let us welcome the contestants for the first category ,the Literary, we have SPOKEN POETRY
and here are the guidelines for the said event.(Reading the Guidelines/Criteria)

M: Please welcome on the stage Contestant #1,___________.Please give him/her a round of applause.

JW: Thank you very much contestant #1,Next in line we have contestant #2,let’s give it up
for___________.
M: Great Job contestant #2, Last but surely not the least is Contestant #3, clap your hands for
_____________.

JW: That was indeed amazing Mam Sam, It made me wish I had some sort of talent like that.

M:Yeah I do agree Jewel, and look at the crowd, And were just starting but they’re already at the edge
of their seats.So let’s not keep the waiting, let us now have the next acts for the musical category. Under
Musical category we have Battle of the Bands, Vocal Solo Male&Female and Vocal Duet.

JW: For the battle of the bands we have the following guidelines to consider (read guidelines) and also
the criteria for judging are as follows: (read criteria).

M: AMANIAN’S are you ready?! Please welcome on stage our first contenders, (grp.name)

JW: That was awesome.

M: So awesome that it would be unfair to make anyone go after that, but of course that can’t be, so
with no further much a do, please welcome contender #2,(grp.name)

JW: I loved that performance, It was great don’t you think Ma’am Sam?

M: Sure they are, Right guys?

JW: And now for the last contenders for this category, please give it up for, contender#3, , (grp.name)

M:Absolutely amazing, how I love seeing group of people performing songs I know & love.

JW: To bring you the next level of excitement, we will now procced to the VOCAL SOLO MALE category,
with its guidelines, (read guidelines) and the criteria for judging are as follows: (read criteria).

M: Ladies & Gentlemen please welcome contestant #1, clap your hands for(name).

JW: Thank you very much contestant #1 for that wonderful rendition of the song__________.

M:Ladies &Gentlemen, Put your hands together for Contestant #2,(name).

JW: Good Job (name), you really did justice to that great song.

M: Alright dear AMANIAN’S were coming down the final stretch here. This act is the last performance
for the Vocal SOLO male category, but definitely not the least. Let us clap our hands for contestant #3,
(name)!

JW: These guys were awesome! I’ve known many of them for years, and I never knew they had that kind
of talent.
M: This school is full of talent, Jewel Dear, but I’m telling you we haven’t seen it al this afternoon, and
I’m guessing the crowd wants more, right guys?

JW: Of course Ma’am Sam, I believe that what men can do, women can do better, yeah GIRL POWER. Let
us now welcome, the contestants for VOCAL SOLO FEMALE category, (same guidelines, and criteria
applies)

M: Please welcome, Contestant #1, give it up for(name).

JW: Great job contestant #1, let us now hear it from contestant #2, (name).

M: Contestant #2 received such a nice gift of talent from god, right Jewel?

JW: Yes Ma’am I agree, AMANIAN’S are you now ready for the last act for VOCAL SOLO FEMALE?

Alright, here we go, Let’s welcome on the stage, contestant #3, (name).

M: You know what Jewel, I was expecting for these to simply be okay, but they all did great.Guess our
panel of judges are going to have a hard time deciding for the winner.

JW: At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, we will hear more of those angelic voices of the truly talented
students of our school. Let the VOCAL DUET Battle begin. (read guidelines&criteria).

M: Please welcome on stage contestant and pair #1 (name). Let us give them a round of applause.

JW: That was a very good combination right ma’am?

M: That’s right, but how about a hand for contestant and pair#2(name)?

JW: Once again that was pair#2, and now please welcome on stage the last performer contestant and
pair #3, (name)!

M: I told you Jewel, they’re gonna give the judges a headache..

JW: I know, so let’s make it even harder for them, as we introduce the next acts.

M: At this point I must say that I am really excited to see what we’ve still got going on.

JW: Totally, and what I can’t get enough are the dancers, I’m the most uncoordinated person in the
planet. So I’m always amazed when someone comes out onto the stage with such awesome dance
moves.

M: That being said, put your hands together for our jazz pop dancers, but first here the guidelines and
criteria for judging. (read guidelines&criteria).

JW: AMANIAN’S are you ready? Brace yourselves for you are about to witness the performance of
contestants #1. Let’s give them a big hand.

M: Once again, please give it up for contestants #1, Those guys were awesome. This school is full of
talent.
JW: I agree! Let us now witness another group of talented students of ACLC College Iriga,
Contestants#2!!

M: No doubt AMANIAN’S are truly gifted with unexceptional talents. Now please welcome on stage
contestants #2, what about a big hand for them?

JW: And the last but not the least please welcome contestant#3!

M: There you have it Ladies and Gentlemen, the Jazz pop Dancers.

JW: We come now to the last event of this competition, the Hip-Hop dance competition. Here are the
guidelines and criteria for judging. (read guidelines&criteria).

M: AMANIAN’S prepare yourselves, for we are going to have a blast. Let us welcome on stage
contestants #1!!!

JW: Wow, that was really amazing! Let’s see how the 2nd group of contenders prepared for this.. please
give it up for, contestants #2.

JW: These acts are awesome, I loved all of them, but let us not forget to love this next performance by
contestants #3, please give them a round of applause!

M: I was holding my breath the whole time, everyone was so competitive and such a good sport, and
that is admirable because that is the very essence of this occasion, conducting school intramurals
DEVELOPING CAMARADERIE AND SPORTSMANSHIP Among everyone.

JW: Please be settled now ladies and gentlemen, for we are about to have the awarding of Certificate &
token to the board of judges. May we request on stage our dear school directress Dr. Emmalyn P. Sirios
to be assisted by the SCO Advisers MS. Sunshine De lima and Lara Chzarina Rodriguez.

M: And now, for the mos awaited part of the day, we come now to the decaration and awarding of the
winners for all the events, may we call on once again Ms. Sunshine De Lima and Lra Chzarina Rodriguez.

JW: Congratulations, to each and everyone to all the students, coaches, trainers, advisers, and parents
for a job well done!

M: To formally close this occasion, may we call on the stage Mr. Marc Kenny Erasga, SCO President.
