VIRTUAL QUIZ BEE

OBJECTIVES:

 Encourage students to expand their knowledge while having fun;

 Promote greater interest and appreciation of the courses in the different


programs of study;

 Provide students with an opportunity to work in a team towards a common goal;


and
 Identify and recognize students who exhibit exemplary performance in quiz
competition.

MECHANICS:
1. The quiz bee in group in nature and covers general questions on nursing-
related courses.
2. There shall be three types of questions: Easy, Average and Difficult

3. For the EASY QUESTIONS, there are seven (7) questions and each
question is worth one (1) point.

4. For the AVERAGE QUESTIONS, there are seven (7) questions and each
question is worth three (3) points.
5. For the DIFFICULT QUESTIONS, there are three (3) questions and each
question is worth five (5) points

Average 3
Difficult 5

6. The Quiz Master shall read the question while the question itself will be
flashed on a screen for the contestants to see.
7. The Quiz Master will indicate the specific set of participants to answer a
given question. The specific set of participants are the only one allowed to
share their answer for their group. If other members of the team answered
for their group, the answer is not counted.
8. All answers must be input on the chat box. The first member from each
team who submit their answers to the chat box will get the point.
9. Incorrect, misspelled and no answer is equivalent to zero (0).
10. Scoring system shall be managed by a designated and official scorer.
11. The team that garnered the highest marks shall be declared as the winner.
12. In cases of ties, three (3) clincher questions will be raised to break the tie.
13. Audience is not allowed to use the chat box. They are only allowed to
show their support thru reactions provided by Zoom
