The Brush Complexity

When you use a paintbrush to achieve a good brush stroke, is it the paintbrush that is doing the stroke? Because
for me, I think without the brush's assistance these beautiful brush strokes will not be given existence. But then we do not
disregard the fact that without that artist's skill a brush would still be a brush and an art cannot be produced. And I think this
is the definition of art within this context; "the interactional relationship between an artist and a medium". Thus, we can infer
that it is an artist's prerequisite to at least have a medium in order to produce art.

There is a wide variety of medium in which an artist can choose from, but as an instinct of an artist it is part of
their nature to be creative and wants to make their art different from any other arts that were produced. And this is where
an innovation for medium comes from. In our Modern times, the use and application of science through technology is very
much prevalent, and this prevalence inspired some people to use technology as a medium for art making, and I don't see any
problems with that.

In using technology as a medium, humans programed robots with artificial intelligence using algorithms and many
complicated technical stuffs to dictate its output. That is why I think of machine generated art as an art because without any
human intent behind it, it won't exist. Some people may deem it not an art because it was not produced in the conventional
way of manual labor, but then we have to also keep in mind that manual labor was done in the process of automation. That
before it became as sophisticated and easy as it seems, a lot of efforts and labors were given to create these machines. Just
like what is stated in the first paragraph, the best way to think about it is by seeing that machines are in no difference to
brushes when it comes to art, as they are both mediums aiding the artist an interactional support in order to achieve the
artist's desired output.
