Ladies and Gentlemen. To give a little background of myself, my name is ….. and I’m
currently studying in ….th grade in Kafila International Islamic School in East Jakarta
and I hope that you’re feeling as amazing as I am right now

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. It's an honor to be here today to share my
story about the art of drawing and the advent of AI in this field.

Let me start with a strong statement: Drawing is not just a hobby or a skill, it is a way
of life. From the earliest cave paintings to modern digital art, drawing has been an
essential part of human expression and creativity. As someone who loves to draw
and has honed my skills over the years, I can attest to the many benefits that this art
form provides.

Drawing is not just about putting lines on paper or canvas, it is about creating
something that comes from within. It is a way of expressing oneself, exploring one's
imagination and discovering new ideas. And with each new drawing, we improve our
talent and increase our creativity.

For me, drawing has been a source of joy and fulfillment. I have learned different
techniques and styles, from technical drawing to abstract art. But what I love most is
the shading technique, which brings depth and dimension to my drawings.

I remember a school assignment where I had to make a Mega Mendung batik using
the shading technique. It was challenging, but I put my heart into it and was pleased
with the result.

Looking ahead, I want to learn more about linear techniques, especially in digital art.
Drawing with precision and accuracy is essential in the digital age, where AI has
become a powerful tool in the art world.

Which brings me to the point of the issue at hand. The rise of AI drawing presents
both opportunities and challenges. On the one hand, AI can help artists in many
ways, from creating new textures and colors to generating complex patterns and
designs. On the other hand, it raises questions about the role of human creativity in
the art world.

Some argue that AI could displace illustrators and other artists, taking over their jobs
and rendering their talents obsolete. And there is a bigger problem: the copyright
issue. AI is trained on data sets, and if those data sets are not properly licensed or
copyrighted, then there could be legal consequences.

So, where do we stand on this issue? Is AI a threat or an opportunity? My answer is

that it depends on how we use it. AI can be a powerful tool to enhance human
creativity, but it should not replace it. As for the copyright issue, we need to find
ways to ensure that the images used to train AI are properly licensed and credited.

Unfortunately, there have been cases where AI has been trained on unlicensed data
sources, which can lead to legal issues for artists. Recently, there have been criminal
findings of companies using copyrighted images without permission to train their AI
models. This is a serious offense that can have devastating consequences for artists
whose work has been used without their consent.

As an artist, it can be frustrating to see your work being used without proper credit
or compensation. It is important for artists to take a stand against this and protect
their rights. One way to do this is by watermarking your work, which can make it
difficult for others to use without permission. Additionally, it is important to be
vigilant and monitor the use of your work online.

However, it is also important to note that AI can be a tool for artists to protect their
work as well. AI can be used to detect and prevent copyright infringement, and there
are already companies developing AI-based tools to help with this issue.

In conclusion, the advent of AI in the art world presents both opportunities and
challenges. While AI can enhance human creativity, it also raises questions about
copyright and the role of human creativity. As artists, it is important for us to stay
informed and vigilant about the use of our work, and to advocate for our rights in
the face of unlicensed AI data sources. By staying informed and advocating for our
rights, we can create a future where AI and human creativity work together in
harmony. With the right approach, we can harness the power of AI to create new and
exciting works of art while protecting our own. So let us continue to draw, create,
and innovate, knowing that our art is not just a skill, but a reflection of our innermost
selves. Thank you.
