OPTION 1:
1. Using the original structural member sizes without considering the columns as
composite, structural steel grade, concrete grade, steel outriggers provided in the
100% schematic design.
2. Application of wind loadings as per the provided Wind Tunnel Test and Dead Load &
Live Load as per 100% schematic design.
3. Load Combinations, seismic parameters as per provided 100% schematic design.
4. Effective stiffness properties are both considered in Service-Level Wind, Design
Earthquake and Strength-Level Wind.
OPTION 2:
1. Using the original structural member sizes without considering the columns as
composite, structural steel floor beams are eliminated, slab decks are replaced with
300mm reinforced concrete solid slabs or PT slabs, steel outriggers are eliminated.
2. Concrete grade for columns, RC slabs and shear walls are as follows;

The allowable design story drift in accordance with ASCE 7-16 Table 12.12-1 is taken as:
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to wind load is 285.9mm.
Allowable Drift for Wind = H/500 or (306500mm-7500mm)/500 = 598mm > 285.9mm
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to seismic is 328.2mm.
Allowable Drift for Seismic = 0.015*(306500mm-7500mm) = 4485mm > 328.2mm
Note: From the above results, all floor levels of the structure are within the allowable
stability limits.
Note: From the above results, lateral drifts due to seismic in all floor levels of the structure
are within the allowable drift limits.
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to wind load is 655.8mm.
Allowable Drift for Wind = H/500 or (306500mm-7500mm)/500 = 598mm < 655.8mm
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to seismic is 745.2mm.
Allowable Drift for Seismic = 0.015*(306500mm-7500mm) = 4485mm > 745.2mm
Note: From the above results, lateral drifts due to seismic in 45th, 49th, 52nd, 55th and 56th
floors are exceeding to the allowed drifts. However, for the other floors the lateral drifts are
within the allowable limits.
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to wind load is 643.7mm.
Allowable Drift for Wind = H/500 or (306500mm-7500mm)/500 = 598mm < mm
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to seismic is 727.0mm.
Allowable Drift for Seismic = 0.015*(306500mm-7500mm) = 4485mm > 727mm
Note: From the above results, lateral drift due to seismic in 45th floor is exceeding to the
allowed drift. However, for the other floors the lateral drifts are within the allowable limits.
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to wind load is 381.7mm.
Allowable Drift for Wind = H/500 or (306500mm-7500mm)/500 = 598mm > 381.7mm
Note: From the above results, the maximum drift due to seismic is 425.30mm.
Allowable Drift for Seismic = 0.015*(306500mm-7500mm) = 4485mm > 425.30mm
Note: From the above results, lateral drifts due to seismic in all floor levels of the structure are within
the allowable drift limits.
