A. Aluminium Honeycomb Panel

1. Cleaning and Maintenance

1.1 General Cleaning

• Cleaning should be carried out in stages from the top of the shelter.
• Special cleaning apparatus such as high-pressure sprays can be used in addition
to cleaning agents.
1.2 Cleaning Agents
• Avoid alkaline cleaning agents e.g. caustic soda strong acidic products.
• Abrasive products or solvents can damage the lacquer and should be avoided.
• Never use products meant for metal cleaning on stove lacquered aluminium
surface.
1.3 Cleaning Residue
• Do ensure that any residue from the cleaning agent is thoroughly rinsed off.
• To ensure there are no water stains, finish with a wipe down using a sponge or
leather wiper.
• Avoid cleaning sun-heated surfaces (more than 40 °C) as rapid drying could lead
to stain formation.

B. Installation fischer FIS EM Plus Chemical Anchor Work

1. Techniques and prepare

1.1 Fischer FIS EM Plus

• The fischer injection mortar FIS EM Plus is an Epoxy mortar

• The epoxy mortar FIS EM Plus bonds the entire surface of the anchor with the
drill hole wall and seals off the drill hole
• The injection mortar ensures highest loads in concrete

1.2 Tools and accessories

• Blow-out pump
• Cleaning brush
• Application gun / dispenser

2. Work Methodology

1.1 After removed over installed anchor bolt, blow out the dust from the drilled –
hole with blow-out pump
1.2 Inject the FIS EM Plus mortar into the clean drilled-hole by using the dispenser
1.3 Insert anchor rod by turning it into the filled hole
1.4 Allow sufficient time for the mortar to be fully cured (5 – 10 hours)
1.5 Remove excess chemical.
1.6 Place the base plate over the chemical anchor
1.7 Tighten the nut to the required torque

3. Clean up

1.1 Work area is cleared and materials disposed of, reused or recycled in
accordance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice and job specification.
1.2 Plant, tools and equipment are cleaned, checked, maintained and stored in
accordance with manufacturer recommendations and standard work practices.
