Int: Shop – Day

Inside a shop there is someone behind the counter and two men
in the shop, one at the back browsing the shelves and the
other is dressed in black and hangs around near the counter.
PERSON #2 approaches the counter and pulls out a knife
aggressively and turns to the worker behind the counter.
PERSON #2:
“All the money in the register and I won’t cut you up!”
The SHOPWORKER, startled, unloads the cash register and hands
it to PERSON 2. He looks terrified.
CASHIER (hurried):
“Ok, ok, I got it. Coming your way! (Laughs nervously)”
PERSON #1 stands in shock watching the scene unfold.
PERSON #2 turns to leave the store but briefly turns to PERSON
#1 and holds the knife out to him;
PERSON #2
“Wanna make some money, kid?”
PERSON #1 looks at the knife and considers taking it, being
easily influenced. His thoughts appear onscreen showing him
having money on his right and a policeman and jail cell on his
left.
PERSON #2 (still holding the knife out to him, becoming
impatient) before running out of the shop carrying a bag of
money.
“Make your choice, kid”
He runs out of the shop carrying a bag of money.

Ext: Shop – Day

PERSON #2 begins to run away from the shop before being
stopped by a police officer and arrested. The camera closes in
on the arresting officer and we see it is in fact PERSON #1
from the store.
He exclaims:
“I made my choice, mate. And so did you. Hope you like jail.”
Int: prison cell
We cut to PERSON #2 in a jail cell looking sorry for himself
and onscreen text reads;
“Make your choice. Knife crime.”
