Signature events

1. techNIEks Inauguration
An inaugural ceremony by E S Chakravarthy, Center Head, TCS. Mr. ES
Chakravarthy has been honored with “Chanakya Award” (National Achiever) for the
year 2013 for Business Excellence in HR by Public Relations Council of India for his
outstanding contribution to profession, industry and society.

Mr. ES Chakravarthy has been honored as a member on National Social Security

Board (NSSB) under the chairmanship of Hon. Minister of Labor & Employment under
the section representing eminent persons from civil society.

2. Zubin Paul Live (7th March at 7:45pm)

The first signature event of techNIEks is a live performance by a very talented singer
and music director from our very own city MYSURU. He’s a post graduate student at
Amritha university, Mysuru. This very talented artist not only sings with precision, but
he also carved a career in photography, videography, acting, editing, dancing.
Performing on stage and has excelled in all of them.

3. Footloose 4.0
Footloose is Mysuru’s biggest Street Dance Battle conducted by techNIEks from past
4 years. There are two categories; solo and crew. Attractive prizes are awarded for
the winners.

4. AVALAKKI PAVALAKKI movie promo (7th March at 7:28pm)

This film is a suspense/adventure concentric to the lives of three children and a tribe.
Directed by Durga Prasad and produced by Ranjitha Subramani, it is conceptualized
based on dharma, as it is stated in the great Indian epic MAHABHARATHA.
Team Avalakki pavalakki will be here on the first day of techNIEks to entertain the
crowd and as a part of their movie promotion.

5. NGO performance (8th March at 6:48pm)

The kids belonging to ASHADAYAKA SEVA TRUST will melt our hearts with their
performance. This organisation takes care of orphan and underprivileged background
kids.
Around 13 students will be performing on the stage on second day of our techNIEks.

6. Fashion Show (8th March at 7:12pm-7:30pm and at 8:17pm-

8:38pm)
This is one of the signature events taking part at techNIEks. It consists of two rounds
with two different themes, the first one involves showcasing the designer wears and
second round is based on the theme of NIVEZA-Fiesta of expressions to put a visual
extravaganza.

7. SAKKATH STUDIOS (9th March at 6:28)

They produce good original digital content in kannada and have stood out to be the
most recalled youth brand in Karnataka. They provide biggest platform for kannada
web series, short films, music, videos, originals and more.

Team Sakkath will be live on day 3 of our techno cultural fest to entertain the
gathering.

8. ZEPHYRTONE ( 9th March at 7:10)

Zephyrtone is India’s fastest moving dance and music duo. They have previously
performed on major platforms like SUNBURN, VH1 Supersonic, MTV Asia, and have
toured along with Martin Garrix. They will be here for the first time in Mysuru to set
the techNIEks stage on fire.
