Introduction
This project is based on K-Pop fame group
named BTS related locations in South Korea. I
chose this project because The BTS have a
huge fanbase worldwide including India. The
fans of this K-Pop group are very much
dedicated towards there idols and I saw the
potential of this tour in the market so I've a
tailormade suggestive tour plan which blends
all the BTS related places with the popular
places around the South Korea. It includes
places like the studio of K-Pop group, BTS
shopping centers, Places related with BTS,
Restaurants, etc and Tourist attraction in major
cities of South Korea.

About BTS
BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan( ) 방탄소년
or “Beyond the Scene, A Grammy-nominated seven
member South Korean group under BigHit Music
(previously known as BigHit Entertainment) that
debuted June 13, 2013 on MCOUNTDOWN with the
song “No More Dream” followed by “We Are
Bulletproof Pt. 2”

The members of BTS are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook.
Gaining recognition for their authentic and self-produced music, top-
notch performances, and the way they interact with their fans, BTS has
established themselves as “21st century Pop Icons” breaking countless
world records. While imparting a positive influence through activities
such as the LOVE MYSELF campaign and the UN ‘Speak Yourself’
speech, the band has mobilized millions of fans across the world (named
ARMY), topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart three times in 2020 alone,
performed multiple sold-out stadium shows across the world, and been
named TIME’s Entertainer of the Year 2020.
BTS has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for
the 63rd Grammy Awards and recognized with numerous
prestigious awards like the Billboard Music Awards, American Music
Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.”

Seoul Tourism Brand Ambassador
Since 2017, BTS has been the Honorary Tourism Ambassador for
Seoul.
On September 14, 2017, BTS was announced as Honorary Tourism
Ambassadors to the City of Seoul at which they appeared in the video’
‘BTS’ Life in Seoul’ to promote the city’s major landmarks.
On December 6, 2017, the promotional campaign song, ‘With Seoul’,
sung by BTS was released. The music video was released a week later
on the Visit Seoul website and the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s
YouTube Channel on December 13, 2017.
On October 22, 2018, BTS collaborated for a second year with the
Seoul Tourism Organization to introduce their latest social media
campaign ‘Live Seoul Like I Do, My Seoul Playlist’. This campaign invites
fans to create their own travel playlist or wish list of top tourist activities
grouped under seven different themes for the seven members of the
band.
In September 2019, the Seoul Tourism Organization launched global
interactive campaigns ‘Live Seoul Like I Do, Create & Share’ featuring
BTS. The campaign slogan includes promotional videos that continues to
convey the message of the previous campaign, ‘Live Seoul Like I Do’,
however takes a step further enabling foreign tourists who have had
first-hand experiences enjoying Seoul to be featured as narrators,
encouraging people to ‘Live Seoul like I do, Create and Share.’
From September 4, 2020 until September 10, 2020 KST, The Seoul
Metropolitan Government & Seoul Tourism Foundation released a total
of 7 countdown teaser videos of each member leading up to the
campaign launch.
The worldwide release for their 2020 Seoul Tourism Promotion Video
was on September 11, 2020.
On September 9, 2021, the City of Seoul and Seoul Tourism
Organization unveiled the 2021 Seoul Global Marketing Campaign ‘Your
Seoul Goes On’ with BTS.
As part of the campaign, the “Eo-Gi-Young-Cha Series”, including the
promotional video “Eo-Gi-Young-Cha Seoul (with BTS)”, was released.

Day 1
On day one we arrive at Incheon International Airport (Seoul)
and head towards the hotel 3-4* Property (Shilla Stay
Yeoksam/Dormy inn Seoul gangnam or similar) check in to hotel
and rest for a while. In the evening we visit Moonlight Rainbow
Fountain and Banpo Hangang Park.

Moonlight Rainbow Fountain:

Banpodaegyo Bridge is a two-tiered bridge over the Han River
that features the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, (the world’s
longest bridge fountain recognized by the Guinness Book of
World Records) with 380 water jets and a dazzling array of multi-
colored lights. The Moonlight Rainbow Fountain’s water jets are
dynamic and can move in time to music creating spectacular
ever-changing displays. Add to that the hundreds of rainbow-
colored lighting combinations when night falls, and it is easy to
see why Banpodaegyo Bridge is a magnet for tourists year round.

Page 04
The Moonlight Rainbow Fountain operates from April to October
every year, however the schedule of the fountain shows varies
from month to month. Each fountain show lasts 20 minutes. In

Page 07
Day 2
Day Two is all about covering BTS related places. This day will be
a walk through the memory lane we will be covering Old big hit
entertainment building, HYBE entertainment building, Hallyn K-
Star road and yoojung sikdang restaurant.

HYBE Entertainment Building

Big Hit Entertainment moved to its new headquarters in the
district of Yongsan as it became HYBE Entertainment in March
2021. HYBE is now the headquarters of multiple labels and spans
across all 19 floors of the building.
It is not possible to enter the building and the chances are rare
for you to meet your idols here, but it is a place to visit absolutely
in your BTS Seoul Tour!
There’s 19 levels of smooth, vertical office design, and a museum
for BTS. After years of outstanding work and progress, BigHit
Entertainment finally gained its new and lavish home-the HYBE
Building in Yeongsan, Seoul. A structure that opened on March
30, 2021, the new HYBE building is the mark of BigHit
Entertainment’s (now known as HYBE, an entertainment lifestyle
platform company) transition into a future that includes a new
space for BTS and their fellow BigHit artists.

Page 08
Old Big Hit Entertainment Studio
The Old Big Hit Entertainment Studio has now become a must-
visit place for fans of BTS, as this is where it all began.
This building has seen a lot of blood, sweat and tears from the
boys, but it produced the massively popular group we know
today!
The walls are filled with written messages from ARMYs, and in a
whole lot of languages. People travel far to see the place!

Hallyu K-Star Road

Originally known as the “luxury road of Cheongdam”, the K-Star
Road is visited by many Kpop fans all year long and we can easily
understand why!
From Apgujeong Rodeo Station towards Cheongdam
intersection there is 1km to walk with GangnamDols everywhere
and entertainment companies based in the neighbouring streets.
GangnamDols are sculptures of big bear dolls designed with
Kpop groups branding.
There are 17 of them, gotta catch them all!

Page 09
It took about two years to establish the K-Star Road. There is a 3-
meter-tall PSY GangnamDol in front of the Galleria Department
Store, and seventeen more GangnamDols of Super Junior, EXO,
Girl’s Generation, and Bangtan Boys are located. The
GangnamDols are placed along with about 1 km section of the
road connecting the Apgujeong Rodeo Station and Cheongdam
crossroads, so if you walk along the GangnamDol places, you
can enter the area packed with entertainment companies,
including JYP Entertainment and Cube Entertainment. It is
another enjoyable content to find your favorite singer’s
GangnamDol and take a picture to be posted in your SNS.

Yoojung Sikdang - BTS’ Trainee Days Restaurant

Yoojung Sikdang is the best place to get the ‘pre-fame’ BTS feel.
The group would eat at this restaurant very regularly in their pre-
debut days, and even mentioned it later in variety shows.

Page 10
The restaurant is still open today, and is now filled with BTS
merchandise. The group’s favourite dishes are still on the menu:
Dolsot Bibimbap and Jeju Black Pork.

RM Forest 1:
RM has always been an advocate for the preservation of our
environment, so these gifts couldn’t have been more spot on.
Forest 1 was created by fans in celebration of RM’s 25th
birthday.

we proceed back to hotel for dinner and stay overnight here.

Page 11
Day 3
Day Three starts with exploring history and culture of south korea
with touch of BTS. We will be going on historic walking tour and
Yeouido Hangang park.

Seoul Historic Walking Tour:

Seoul, being the capital of South Korea, is home to many
important historic sites and locations. This 2.5 hour walking tour
will bring you to some of its most noteworthy stops that you may
have missed. By walking, you'll get right up close and experience
a real journey into Seoul's history. After meeting up with your
English speaking guide, you'll head to Gwanghwamun Plaza. This
is a public open space that has been central to the community
for centuries into Korean history, and was only in the 20th century
when it became a 16-lane roadway. Then you will be able to tour
Gyeongbok Palace, considered as the main palace during the
Joseon period. You'll get the chance to see Gyeonghoeru,
Sajeongjeon, and the National Folk Museum while here. Then you
will head to Jogyesa Temple, which is considered the center of
Korean Buddhism. Then you will walk to Insadong, one of Seoul's
brightest attractions, specializing in cultural crafts, where so
many items can be purchased as mementos of Korean cultural
history. This is the perfect way to experience Korean culture, and
even hear some funny stories!

Yongin Daejanggeum Park:
Situated in Yeouido, the heart of politics, media, banking and
finance, Yeouido Hangang Park is easily accessible via public
transportation. The park hosts many exciting events, from the
Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival in spring to the International
Fireworks Festival in fall, as well as concerts and marathons
throughout the year. Well-preserved natural areas such as
Bamseom Island and Yeouido Saetgang Tributary provide visitors
with an opportunity to learn about nature and ecology. In
addition, thanks to the Hangang Renaissance Project, the park is
full of new attractions: the Water Light Square, waterside
fountains, a riverside stage, a yacht marina, and more.

Afterwards we head back to hotel and have dinner later and stay
overnight.

History of Seoul City Wall

Hanyangdoseong (Seoul City Wall, 18.6km) was originally built in
1396 on the mountain ridges of Seoul (Mt. Baegaksan, Mt.
Naksan, Mt. Namsan and Mt. Inwangsan).
Changuimun Gate, located in Buamdong was one of the gates
to Seoul during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).

Page 14
Baegak Mountain Trail of Seoul City Wall
The Baegak Mountain Trail (4.7km, 3 hrs hike) runs from
Changuimun to Sukjeongmun to Hyehwamun. It crosses Mt.
Baegak (also more commonly known as Bugaksan Mountain), the
highest of the 4 inner mountains of Seoul.

History of Bugaksan Mountain & Baegak Mountain Trail -

No/Limited Access
Public access to this area was limited for about 40 years after a
unit of North Korean Special Forces infiltrated the Cheong Wa
Dae (The Blue House, Presidential Office & Residence) through
the mountain route of Bugaksan Mountain on 21 January 1968.
The hilly path of Bugaksan Mountain, located behind Cheong Wa
Dae was used as an escape route for the North Korean
commandos, who has failed in their attempt to assassinate the
then-South Korean President, Park Chung-hee. Even so,
photography are restricted in some areas. There are surveillance
cameras, military guards and checkpoints along the Seoul City
Wall, especially at the Changuimun section, overlooking the
Blue House.

Hiking from Changuimun Gate

The path from Changuimun Gate begins on long steep climb (30-
60 mins) on stone steps and wooden stairs all the way to the
summit of Baegak (Bugaksan) Mountain.
You can exit the hike at Sukjeongmun Information Center after
Sukjeongmun Gate (& get a taxi), Malbawi Information Center or
continue on to Hyehwamun Gate with more transport options. If
you do not wish to begin your hike on a long steep climb, it is
recommended to start the hike from Hyehwamun Gate, Malbawi
Information Center or Sukjeongmun Information Center instead.
After the hike, you can also explore the many cafes near
Changuimun Gate at Buamdong as well.
Page 15
Sukjeongmun Gate
Next, the trail will lead to Sukjeongmun Gate. You will be
presented with another magnificent mountain view when walking
through the gate.

After our hike to the city wall we have our lunch and proceed
towards hotel and spend some time in leisure. Evening is free to
explore the city there own. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Page 25
Day 8
After a week in BTS homeland on day 8 we head back to our
home with lots of memories of BTS and merch to keep us
motivated towards their upcoming work and in life.

Page 26
Best time to visit
If you want to see the vibrant pink of the cherry blossoms in
bloom, visit South Korea between March and May. We
recommend visiting between September and November to see
the landscapes come alive as the leaves change in the cooler
weather.
However, the best time to visit South Korea as a BTS fan is
during their concert, so you can meet and see them in
person.

Things to keep in Mind

Applications like Google maps don't work in South Korea so
you need to download a application named "Kakao" to know
your way through the city when you're on your own.
Also Download HYBE Insight app before visiting the museum
for QR code ticket.
Koreans are not very fluent English speakers so you need a
Korean to English translator with you if needed.

Target audience
This Itinerary is purposely designed for dedicated BTS
ARMY(Fans) so the Target Audience for this tour would be
anyone and everyone who is interested in visiting BTS related
places. Also Non-K-pop fans can also join if they wish to explore
the perspective of South Korea.

Future plans
Future plans are to add newer destinations related to BTS and
also other K-pop idols and K-Drama series.

Page 27
Market survey

of this particular product and managed to get great number of
response. The series of questions which were asked are as
follows:

Page 31
Conclusion
To Conclude I would like to mention that this tour
is not only about visiting the same places where
BTS or K-Pop idol has visited or been or related
But It's more of a pilgrim tour for the dedicated
fans who put their heart and soul for the their idol
to shine across the globe and to bless the fans
such tour itinerary is created. Visiting the country
of their idols homeland is going to be a different
experience for them and as time goes on this
product will definitely create a huge demand in
market.
