παλιρροιακό κύμα θεατρικά στημένων σκηνών και ασύλληπτης
μινιμαλιστικής ομορφιάς πλάνων. Δεν απαιτούνται γιατί ο σκηνοθέτης
έχει φροντίσει από το πρώτο λεπτό να μας καθοδηγήσει αυτός όπως
θέλει, εκεί που θέλει, σε όσο χρόνο θέλει. Χρησιμοποιεί τα δικά του
όπλα, δηλαδή τον φωτογράφο του, τον οπερατέρ του, τους ηθοποιούς
του με ανυπέρβλητη μαεστρία και πετυχαίνει τον αρχικό του στόχο.

σημαντικές ταινίες του παγκόσμιου σινεμά και μία από τις
"σταμπαρισμένες" ως ένα από τα αριστουργήματα της 7ης Τέχνης. Το
1986 πήρε στις Κάννες το Μεγάλο Βραβείο της Κριτικής Επιτροπής,
το Βραβείο Καλλιτεχνικής Συνεισφοράς, το Βραβείο FIPRESCI και
τέλος το Βραβείο της Οικουμενικής επιτροπής. Μινιμαλιστική
εικαστικά, αφάνταστα πλούσια σε νοήματα και μηνύματα, με
ασύλληπτο σε φιλοσοφικό υπόβαθρο σενάριο, μα πάνω από όλα είναι
σαν σύνολο η πιο αψεγάδιαστη και άρτια σε όλους τους τομείς ταινία
του Αντρέι Ταρκόφσκι. Παράκληση: ακόμα και αν αυτό το είδος
σινεμά δεν είναι το φόρτε σας προσπαθήστε να την δείτε γιατί το
ρίγος της τελευταίας σκηνής είναι από εκείνα που νιώθουμε μόνο
μπροστά στο μεγαλείο της τέλειας εικόνας. Θα μπορούσα να
χαρακτηρίσω το φινάλε σαν σκηνή ανθολογίας αλλά θεωρώ πως από
μόνη της και σαν ολότητα μπαίνει αυτή η ταινία στο ανθολόγια του
σινεμά…
