HONOR
Honor means you are respectable. It also means that you have a great
achievement and everyone is looking up to you. If you have an honor, it means you
are outstanding or you have a high moral worth. Treating someone with honor
means you gave them special attention and respect. Just like for example, you won’t
talk back to your parents if they were disciplining you because this is a dishonor. In
school, you have an honor if you are excellent student and you received
congratulatory message for that achievement or accomplishment. In military, a
soldier can have an honor if he has a high rank or he has a great reputation. And
also, people look up to soldiers because they are sacrificing their own lives for the
sake of our country’s peacefulness. In short, a man with honor is someone who has
the living of values like respect, loyalty and selfless service.
PATRIOTISM
DUTY
Duty is all you’re your obligations or responsibilities. Duty are the things you
should do and not to do. If you have an assigned task, you must fulfill all your
responsibilities and the things you need to do or else there will be a consequences
for failure of complying. Examples of duty are obeying the laws of the country, paying
all your taxes, participating in elections to vote and also to show patriotism and honor
to our country, in military, soldiers have duty of protecting our country from terrorists.
Police officers have a duty of catching local criminals like robbers, murderers,
rapists, etc.
