 A concept paper for: “Children Software Development Training Program”

INTRODUCTION:

The Information and Communications Technology (I.C.T.) Club of Don Manuel A.

Javellana Memorial National High School (DMAJMNHS) conducted the “Children Software
Development Training Program for SHS Students” with a theme: “Children: Solution
Developers for Modern Problems”.

Our current society faces waves of futuristic problems. Lots of specific tasks needs to be
done accurately, efficiently and fast – which makes humans as improbable candidates.
Computers, however, have all the characteristics to ensure the compliance of the criteria listed
above.

Software is one of the modern applications in building solutions on the I.C.T. platform.
Children are the leaders of the future thus, we, the adults of the current generation, has to train
them so that they will be able to face currently occurring and upcoming futuristic problems. This
very idea is the main target of our program.

The club will be conducting a 2-day software development training program open for
every SHS student in DMAJMNHS. The whole event will be composed of orientation and
exercises regarding to programming. Various applications which solve different problems will be
developed by each participant during the whole process. At the end of the program, students are
expected to master practical skills and programming languages to develop any kinds of software
and solution to modern-day problems.

We will be holding the event in DMAJMNHS covered court at exactly every 8:00 a.m.
and concluded at exactly every 4:00 p.m. in the following days: 1 and 2 of October in the year of
our Lord 2019. We need your moral and financial support to help us in the completion of this
small program.
PURPOSE:

The main purpose of the “Children Software Development Training Program” is to

educate SHS students of DMAJMNHS regarding to developing softwares which solve modern-
day problems. This program will help prepare children, the leaders of the future, in facing
futuristic difficulties that will hinder or slow their progress in the future.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This program aims to guide DMAJMNHS SHS students master various programming
languages and practical skills regarding to software development.

 To teach them Mobile Applications Development
 To teach them Desktop Applications Development
 To help them understand programmatic logics
 To teach them best practices and development principles
 To prepare them for modern-day problems

BENEFITS:

Our main benefactors are the SHS students of DMAJMNHS. They will learn
programming languages and various skills to aid them in developing modern-day solutions on
the I.C.T. platform.
