1. Unlocking of Difficult Words
 Pinakbet- is a Filipino vegetable dish.
It is composed of a variety of vegetables and it
also has a protein component.

2. Motivation
Ask the following questions.
 Where is your lunchbox? (inside my bag)
 Where is my motorcycle? (outside)
 Where do you buy snacks? (at the canteen)

 What do these words tell? (They tell where an action is done.)
 What question do these words answer? (Where?)

4. Presentation
 Let the pupils read the dialog. The teacher will ask questions about the
dialogue. Refer to LM, Talk About It, p.271 (Teacher writes the answers
given by the pupils.)
Discussion Questions:
1. Where did Mother and Jenny buy fish and vegetables? (at the market)
2. Where are the vendors? (everywhere)
3. Where do they sell their products? (around the town)
Ask: What do these words tell? What question do these words answer?

 A word that tells where an action is done is an adverb of place.

follow the given task. Have a representative each group to present the output.
