Competency Assessment

No Competency Assessment, No graduation policy must be followed. Competency


Assessment for students is mandatory. Such assessment is conducted before graduation.
However, passing the assessment is not a requirement for graduation.

Rules on Issuance of Training Certificate

A trainee shall be issued a Certificate of Achievement (COA) right after completion of the
basic competencies of a given qualification. No students/ trainees shall be allowed to proceed to
core competencies without presenting both COAs or any other documents equivalent to it as a
result of RPL assessment.

Certificate of Competency (COC) shall be issued to students/ trainees after completion


of a particular core or cluster of core competencies leading to a given qualification by passing
the corresponding competency assessment.

Certificate of Training (COT) shall be issued to students/ trainees after completion of the
basic, common and all core competencies. The certificate shall enumerate competencies
covered/ completed.
