Dear Parents,

Subject: Introduction of our new School Counsellor

We are happy to introduce Dr. Ria Das who has taken up the role of the School Counsellor from
August 2019. She comes with years of rich experience as a psychologist at some of the reputed
Schools in the city. Academic, behavioural, social, personal, life skills and career development are
the key areas which she has worked on, along with parent counselling and conducting various
workshops. Working together with her, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students
with a pleasant school experience.

Keeping in mind the various challenges which you face in your day to day parenting and
understanding that you require an open counselling session for your kids; our new School Counsellor
is also going to conduct a need based one to one counselling session with parents from 19th August
2019, onwards. Your concerns would provide us with a starting point for listening and responding
empathically to your various problems.

For this purpose and for the ease of counselling, we have allotted the days of the week to the
different class levels, as below:

 Monday and Tuesday - For Classes III to V from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
 Wednesday and Thursday- For Classes VI to VIII from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
 Friday- For Classes IX to XI from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
 Working Saturdays- For Classes Nursery to II from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

In this regard, mails requesting appointment, as per the mentioned schedule, can be sent to
counsellor@ntskolkata.org. It may be noted that we will register only three appointments each day
on first come first served basis.

We welcome Dr. Ria Das to our family, and we hope that with her expertise, we will continue to
collaborate effectively.
