Oral Presentation Guidelines
1. Each presenter has a 20-minute time to deliver the paper;
maximum of 10 minutes for the presentation and another 10
minutes for the question and answer portion. The timer shall
flash the time cues according to the time left for presentation.
(Cues are last 2 minutes and Time is Up.)

2. Presenters are advised to use a readable font size (any of the


San Serif font styles) and eye-friendly color scheme.

3. In any of the slides, the presentation shall include the


following: title of the study, author/s, and contact details.

4. The presentation should focus on the following:

Action Research:
Context and Rationale, Research Questions,
Intervention/Innovation, Research Methods, Timeline, and Cost
Estimates.

Basic Research:
Rationale, Research Questions, Related Literature, Research
Methods, Timeline, and Cost Estimates

Completed Research:
Introduction, Research Questions, Research Methodology,
Presentation, Analysis and Interpretation of Data, Summary,
Conclusions and Recommendations.

The maximum number of slides is 20.


5. The research should be delivered in a clear and simple manner
with jargon-free terms.
6. Reading the paper during the presentation is highly
discouraged. Speak out ideas and refer to audience the
important details of the study.

7. Ideas should be expressed with confidence and with a loud


voice in order to hold the attention of the audience despite
whatever distraction will come along.

8. Presenters must wear corporate attire.
