Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen!

Welcome to ISAT U, Graduate Education Program seminar forum with the topic “The Impact of
Mass Media and Fake News to 21st Century Education” .

To start with, let us all stand for an opening prayer to be led by Mrs. Leoni Mae Allado and to
be followed by the singing of the National Anthem & ISAT U hymn on record.

Thank you Maam Leoni. Please all be seated.

At this juncture, Dr. Frisian Y Causing, COE Graduate Program Coordinator will have her
opening remarks.

Thank you Maam for your opening remarks. And now let’s have a message from our very own
handsome Dean of the College of Education, no other than, Dr. John Eric V. Juaneza.

Thank you Sir for that inspiring message.

At this point, Ms. Jenie Farofil will introduce our guest speaker for this afternoon.

Thank you Maam. And now, let’s all welcome Mr. Leonard T. Peneda, Regional News Editor,
Philippine Information Agency. Please give him a round of applause.

Thank you so much Sir Peneda for the information you have shared with us today. May all of us
here are now aware and guided of the proper use of the Mass Media to avoid spreading of fake
news which is rampant in our country.
