To who it may concern,

I am writing this in regards to my interest in the agricultural business field for
employment. I will graduate in May of 2020 from NC State University in Agribusiness
Management. I also have an Associates in Science form Wake Tech Community College. I fell in
love with agriculture in high school and ever since then I have been working towards my goal of
working in agriculture. I will love to be at a company that loves agriculture like I do.
In my experience working for Moss Foods Inc. I worked directly with the public in a retail
setting and dealt with many kinds of people and helped them make merchandise decisions. I
learned patience, the ability to talk to others and tailor what I say to suggest items suited just
for that customer.
In my current position, I am a Geotechnical Technician where I visit different
construction sites and interact with crews working on that site. By doing this, I have interactions
with different people per day and, in some cases, tell these individuals what they are doing is
wrong as well as how to fix the issue. I learned to communicate and express different concepts
with those much older than me. In this position I learned patience in the workplace. With this
experience I also had to learn many new skills so I am comfortable receiving training and help
form others.
Jobs in agriculture are interesting and intriguing to me because agriculture is a huge
interest of mine. I am hard working and motivated in whatever I do so I hope to hear from you
soon for further employment and success.

Sincerely,

Jordan Whitman
