Fueling Procedure

Trailer
1. Pull trailer fuel tank to fueling point.
2. Put hose in tank and start fuel.
3. Turn unit ON.
4. Write Hours onto Fuel Log.
5. Top off and cap Tank.
6. Return hose.
7. Log gallons onto Fuel Log.
8. Take trailer to cold dock.
9. Return Truck to Fuel Island or put in line.
Truck
1. Pull truck to fueling point.
2. Get mileage and get out of truck.
3. Open DEF tank and fuel tank.
4. Record mileage on fuel log and turn on DEF pump.
5. Put fuel hose in tank and start fueling; put DEF hose in tank and
start filling.
 Undo hood latch, drop bumped guard (If necessary), undo
hood latch and open hood, open fuel tank and start fueling.
6. Check fluids, (washer fluid, anti-freeze, power steering and oil)
belts, hoses then look for leaks & damages.
7. .Top off DEF tank & Return hose. Record DEF gallons on fuel log
then clear and turn off pump.
8. Shut hood (put up bumper guard) and latch right hood latch.
9. Top off right fuel tank and return hose.
10. Latch left hood latch
11. Check rear tires, 5th wheel, back of cab and drive line.
12. Top off left tank and return hose.
13. Record gallons in fuel log.
14. Latch hood latch and move truck to staging or hook-up.
Truck and Trailer Together

1. Pull truck and trailer on right fuel island up enough to fuel trailer.
2. Put left fuel island, right hose in trailer fuel tank. Start fueling and
turn unit ON.
3. Record mileage on fuel log and turn on DEF pump.
4. Open DEF tank and fuel tank.
5. Put fuel hose in tank and start fueling; put DEF hose in tank and
start filling.
6. Undo hood latch, drop bumped guard (If necessary), undo hood
latch and open hood, open fuel tank and start fueling.
7. Check fluids, (washer fluid, anti-freeze, power steering and oil)
belts, hoses then look for leaks & damages.
8. Top off DEF tank & Return hose. Record DEF gallons on fuel log then
clear and turn off pump.

10. Top off right fuel tank and return hose.
11. Latch left hood latch and top off left fuel tank.
12. Check rear tires, 5th wheel, back of cab and drive line.
13. Write Hours onto Fuel Log.
14. Top off and cap Tank.
15. Return hose.
16. Log gallons onto Fuel Log.
17. Take trailer to cold dock.
18. Stage or hook-up truck.
