Planning Table

Definition:-

Detailed Plan for any given period will be maintained in the Planning
table in Repetitive manufacturing.
Any distribution of the manufacturing quantity across different
production version will be done with the planning table.

Objective :-

Production plan is available and one has to schedule the plan across
different production version and resources using the planning Table.
At the end of this document one will be able to perform planning using
planning table.

Production versions and Resources

Menu path :-

Logistics → Production → MRP → Planning → Planning Table → MF50


- Change Mode
1. Press Twice MF50 – Change Mode.
2. Press radio button Production line .

3. Update the following required and optional fields:

Field Name Values


Plant Enter your Plant
number.
Production Enter production
line line.
Start Enter the start date.
End Enter the end date.

4. Select Day in dropdown .

5. Press tab Scheduling .


Note:
For repetitive production, ensure Rate-based planning button is
selected and if
the products are subject to PPPI, ensure detailed planning button is
selected.

6. Select Forward scheduling in dropdown to ensure that the


planning table shows the dates calculated from start times.
7. Press tab Control data .

8. Press checkboxes Only mats with production and Only mats with
reqmts.

9. Press Planning table Button .

Note: The top part of the table shows the work centers.
The bottom part of the screen shows the products that can be
manufactured at the work centers and the present production
schedule.

Note: To optimize the production , sequence of production may be


managed by moving scheduled quantities forwards or backwards. You
may do this as shown in the example below.

10. For the material you want to plan, select the Production Version
rows and the date columns you want to modify.

11. Press .

12. Press

13. Enter the required Start and Fin. dates


14. Press

Note: Following example shows how to schedule producito to ta


different work center.
15. Select the Production version rows and the date columns you
want to modify.

16. Select to move the load to different production versions.

Distribute Prod. Quantities


17. Update the following required and optional fields:

Field Name Values


Quota (VR1) Enter value in
Column Quota.
Quota (VR2) Enter value in
Column Quota.

18. Press Copy Button .
