OUTSTANDING YOUNG LEADERS KING AND QUEEN 2019

Description:
The activity is a venue for selected pupil leaders to display their beauty,
character and wits. Its primary aim is to showcase different characteristics that
pupil leaders must develop to become more effective in performing their role –
confidence, good communication, physically pleasing, value-oriented, among
other things.

Mechanics:

1. Participation in the pageant is by Local Government Unit.

2. Each LGU shall be represented by a pair of bona fide public elementary
school pupils, one male and one female, of any grade level, and must be
a member or officer of any pupil organization in the school where he or
she is enrolled. The pair may or may not come from the same school.
3. Officers of DONOFSPG are restricted from joining.
4. Submit through yfp.depednegocc@gmail.com the following on or before
November 21, 2019:
a. Personal Data Sheet per candidate
b. 1 Head Shot Photo with makeup (in White top)
Note: All photos must be in jpeg format at 640 x 480 pixels. Email must
bear the subject (LGU_Name of Candidate_REQUIREMENTS);
Example: HINIGARAN_JOSE DE LA CRUZ_REQUIREMENTS.
5. Contestants will compete on the following categories for the elimination
round:
a. Production Number in camp shirt
b. School Uniform
c. Traditional Barong (Male) – Cocktail Dress (Female) (Shoes’ heels
must not be more than 3 inches; must not be elevated.)
d. Advocacy
6. The percentage system will be used in scoring the candidates based on
the criteria for each category. However, the ranking system will be used
to determine the winner in every category.
7. At the end of the elimination round, the scores from all categories will be
totaled, and 90% of which will be carried over to the final score of each
candidate, while the other 10% will come from the popularity contest.
The 10% from the popularity contest which has a monetary value
wherein he/she will be able to get the 30% in excess to the 1000php per
candidate that the majority agreed.
8. The top five finalists for the male category and for the female category
will be determined using the aggregate score consists of the 90% of the
total elimination round score and 10% of the popularity contest score.
The five candidates from the female category and from the male
category with the highest aggregate scores will enter the final round.
9. For the final round, the finalists will start with a clean slate. They will be
judged based on their answer to the final common question, beauty, and
poise and personality. Scoring will be through the ranking system: 1 –
highest rank, 5 – lowest rank. The finalist with the lowest total rank will
be the winner.
10. Awards to be given will be as follows:
a. Special Awards
i. Most Photogenic – Photographer’s choice
ii. Campus Idol – Based on popularity votes
iii. Social Media Darling – Based on the “hearts” and “wow” in
the FB page of DONOSPG
iv. Most Eloquent – Based on the Advocacy
b. Minor Awards
i. Best in Production Number
ii. Best in School Uniform
iii. Best in Barong (Male) – Cocktail Dress (Female)
iv. Most Eloquent
c. Major Awards
i. 4th Runner Up
ii. 3rd Runner Up
iii. 2nd Runner Up
iv. 1st Runner Up
v. Outstanding Young Leaders King and Queen 2019
11. Prizes include Certificates of Recognition, Sashes, Trophies ,Cash
and Crown.
12. Every candidate will receive a financial subsidy which is 30% of the
total individual popularity votes. This will be used for expenses such as
makeup, attires, transportation, etc.
