K: Good evening Nebz!
N: Good evening Kath! You look quite ravishing tonight. It’s truly an honor to share the stage
with you tonight and hosting this year’s Search for the next Ambassadors of Goodwill.
K: Thank you! I’m to be hosting this event with you as well, Nebz. Truly, this is the most
awaited event for this year’s celebration of the Acctg Day.
N: Absolutely Kath! They’re probably crossing their fingers about who’s winning. Isn’t that
right, everyone? Well, can we hear a shout from Business Administration!!!
K: What about the student from the Hospitality Management!!!

N: Can I hear a shout from the students of the Accounting Technology! And last but not the least
can I hear a shout from the Accountancy students.

K: It’s clear to see that everybody is excited for the program, Nebz! However, let’s not prolong
the agony of waiting. Now, to formally welcome us in tonight’s event, none of this would have
been possible without her effort and dedication. Let us welcome the ever supportive, responsible,
and ever dynamic JPIA Adviser ladies, and gentlemen, help me in welcoming, MS GM MAE N.
GALELA, CPA, let us give her a big round of applause.
N: Thank you so much, MS GM, for that heart-warming welcome address. To help us decide
who among our candidates deserve to the be next Mr and Ms ambassadors of Goodwill 2018,
here are the panel of judges:

N: There they are! The people who will be responsible for deciding who will be the next Mr. and
Ms. Ambassadors of Goodwill 2018.
K: for tonight’s pageant there will be 5 categories mainly the production number that we have
just witnessed, that will comprise 15% of the total score, theme wear that will comprise 15% of
the total score.
N: Also, the candidates will showcase their talent, and the talent comprises 15% of the total
score. Business attire will comprise 25% of the total score, and the interview that will comprise
30% of the total score, with a total of 100%.
K: To make this clear for everyone, let me read to you the objectives of this pageant.
Objectives:
 To recognize and expose the talents, beauty, and intelligence of the students from the
different programs of Business Education Department.
 To come up with two Ambassadors in helping the Cultural and Sports Committee in
general building and promoting goodwill and preserve as messengers of benevolence and
character.
 To encourage creativity, craft and culture to be showcase in the single event by Business
Education Department across the country.
 To serve as the venue for acquaintance with other students from different sections of each
year level.
 To appreciate the richness of Filipino beauty and intelligence.
 To offer an opportunity for students to gain confidence and learn from experiences.
N: Thank you kath, and now let me read to you the qualifications and mechanics of the pageant.
Qualifications:
 Must be a bonafide student of St. Anthony’s College for A.Y. 2018-2019 taking up BS in
Accountancy, BS in Accounting Technology, BS in Accounting Information System, BS
in Internal Auditing, BS in Management Accounting, BS in Business Administration and
BS in Hospitality Management.
 Must be of good moral character and must have not undergone any disciplinary action
before at the present.
 Must be willing to perform the duties and responsibilities of the Ambassadors of Goodwill.

Contest Mechanics:
 The candidates are not allowed to join the cultural show contests.
 The candidate’s attendance is a must during rehearsals and practices.
 Each year level must have one male and female representative.

K: As of now, we will be presenting the criteria for judging because I’m pretty sure everybody is
wondering how the candidates will be judged. Aside from that this pageant is not only merely
about glamor and poise but also defies the contestant’s character as well.
N: So for each contest categories, there will be a set of different criteria for judging. For the
PRODUCTION NUMBER

 Contestants must be on their selected Greek God or Goddess theme wear.

 Head dress and hand props are not allowed.
The Criteria for judging:
Grace, Poise and Projection 40%
Mastery 30%
Stage Presence 20%
Audience Impact 10%
TOTAL 100%
K: for the theme wear,
 The candidates must wear their selected God or Goddess themewear. It
should not be too revealing. Head dress and hand props are allowed.
 The contestants must prepare at least three (3) sentences of introduction of
their self (name, age, philosophy, program and year, name of the God and
Goddess they represent.)

The Criteria for judging:

Creativity and Suitability 40%
Poise and bearing 35%
Stage Presence 15%
Audience Impact 10%
TOTAL 100%

N: For the talent,

 Presentation and judging of talent is by pair.
 The contestants are free to choose whatever they want to present.
 The performance must not exceed five (5) minutes but must not less than
three (3) minutes.
 One (1) point will be deduced for every 30 seconds violation of time
allotted.
 A use of fire, pyrotechnics, water, sharp-edged materials is prohibited.
 Use of vulgar or foul words is not allowed.

 Mastery and Execution 40%
Creativity and Originality 25%
Projection 15%
Costume 10%
Audience Impact 10%

K: for the BUSINESS/ CORPORATE ATTIRE,

 Contestants must be in their corporate or business attire.
 Any cut, style or design will do.
 The use of accessories is allowed.
The Criteria for judging:
Style and Suitability 30%
Grace, Poise and Projection 30%
Uniqueness and Bearing 30%
Audience Impact 10%
TOTAL 100%

 The candidates will pick one question form the hosts and it will serve as the basis
of his/her discussion.
 There will be no time limit in answering the questions.
 The medium to be used is Filipino/English.
The criteria for judging:
Relevance 30%
Substance 30%
Conciseness 25%
Execution 15%

K: Aside from the five minor awards mentioned, the lucky candidates will receive two special
awards mainly the Mr. and Ms. Photogenic, and Mr. and Ms. Popularity. For the Mr. & Ms.
PHOTOGENIC

 Judged on all areas of photograph.

 The candidates must wear their selected Greek God and Goddess theme wear.

Criteria:

Photogenic Talent 10%

 Facial Beauty 30%
Captured personality or mood 10%
Ability of contestant to portray his/her selected Greek God/Goddess 25%
Overall Appeal 25%
Total 100%

N: and for the last special award which is the Mr. & Ms. POPULARITY

 Each male and female candidate will have official pageant photos that will be uploaded
on the Facebook Page of JPIA -St. Anthony's College Chapter. Candidates are
encouraged to share their official pageant photos to gather more likes/reactions from their
friends. The male and female candidate with the highest number of likes/reactions will be
the Mr. And Ms. Popularity 2018. Any form of cheating (like autolikes, autoreactions,
etc.) can be a ground for disqualification for the Popularity Award.

K: For major awards, our fortunate candidates will receive a sash for:

N: And finally, for our Mr. and Ms. Ambassadors of Goodwill 2018, they will receive sashes,
trophies, and will wear the official crown of Saint Anthony’s College.
