Section A:

The Writing Skills Assignment

'Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of
advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold'.
Discuss.
These days, as the world has been reformed with state of art techniques, marketing sectors has
satisfied a big boom with it. At a glance, it has been seen that almost each and every company is
centralized to maximize their sales. That’s why in order to lift their sales and score over
customers, companies invest a large sum of money into advertisement. In fact, advertisement has
become a part of our lives. As it deals both the way of purchasing and selling, accordingly it is
an advantageous way for both customers and producers. Advertisement is the perfect way to
introduce the products to the customers well. Nowadays, publicity is the backbone of the
commercial sector. Thus, advertisement is everywhere. It has become our leading creative
monopoly. The aim of publishing goods is to make them popular. Everyone have their thought
whether they will go for it or not, depending on each eye-view. However, most people declare
advertisement as a waste but some people condemn and claim it as source of information. I have
discussed the pros and cons in the following paragraph.

In favor, I will say that advertisement plays an important role economically as well as mentally.
Advertisement explains customer about new products, their services and provide various choices
that can enhance their lifestyles. The role of advertisement is unavoidable. Secondly, it helps to
keep prices at reasonable level and creates a lawful habitat in the marketing clash, if it will not
so, then the market may cheat the customers. Thirdly, it helps us to inform about the recent offers
and deals of the market. For instance, I have recently purchased three parker pens because there
was one on one offer. Next, in today busy lifestyles, people don’t have time to research on a
particular product, so the advertisement helps us to look after its main features and prices too.
Furthermore, it helps in economy as it provides employment to many people. If there will no free
radio and advertising television channels then there will be no job at all in these sectors.
Moreover, if we take a look on the industrial sectors, advertisement makes it effortless for new
companies to gain position in their sector. If a new company is coming up with a strong
advertisement campaign that can seize the customer mindset by conveying its advantages over
existing products, then it will surely become popular and rival among all the firms. For example-
Micromax has sooner gained market share in the existing telecom sector and it is now an
admirable telecom brand among people’s eye view. In addition to it, advertisement is not only to
promote any product or goods but it also plays a key role in providing valuable information and

Level 0 Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology 2013

English for Academic Purposes (BMI012-4-0) Individual Assignment Page 5 of 27

needed instructions to the people. Like the broadcast of the dates of the polio camps with its
benefits, advertisement describing the harmful effects of smoking, encouraging commercial
revealing the fact to respect females and having equality in the society. All these advertisement
contribute an enormous aim to boost the today’s society.

On the other hand, advertisement contains a list of cons too. Firstly, advertisement tries to
influence concern by making us purchase goods which we do not want or need. It cheats us by
publishing the fake and unreal ads. Such as the commercial of the fairness cream which makes
people fairer in just two days, capsule that reduces five kilogram weight in a day and many more.
But it is obviously not possible. We all know that we cannot buy personal good looks, in
elegance, families and friends and so on. Thus, most of the publicities are a form of lying.
Peoples are steadily exposed to commercials message designed to make them believe that they
can’t survive without a certain product. It is the fact that advertisement is mostly falseful and
exaggerated. Hence today’s, the high sales of products only reflects the power of advertisement
and not the real need of the people. In a magazine it was written that in three ways we are killing
our humanity, by embracing the legitimacy of sponsorship, branding and endless advertisement.
Nowadays most of the company plays an emotional game to trick the people. They apparently
select the popular and famous celebrity for the publicity of their products. Predominantly, people
prefer to use the product displayed by the person whom they are dearly attached. These are now
the general techniques to clinch the customers buying sense. Such as the sale of the Cinthol
deodorant is rising because of the Virat kohli’s appearance in the advertisement. So, the main
aim of the advertisers is to seize the attention of kids and youngsters. Advertisers make them fool
easily by their attractive publicity. Children lack the ability to make wise judgments as to what
they really need. They just get mesmerized by the colorful commercials and pester their parents
to buy those products then and there.

It is generally said that “Necessity is the mother of invention” but according to my opinion
nowadays it should be said as “Invention is the mother of necessity.” I am forced to say this
because of the fact that most of the people are persuaded to buy products that they don’t need at
all. I strongly believe that cons outweigh the pros of the advertisement. Not a single product is
published showing its demerits as all claims itself having no drawbacks, but it is not true at all.
For instance, a washing powder named Ariel claims to remove dirt and stains and as the best
detergent. But people are tricked as it no where mentioned in the advertisement that it contains a
strong chemical powder that could damage the clothes. It is the most popular detergent because
of the lack of the information. People purchase thousands of goods every minute without
thinking of the quality and need of the product. I trust the reason behind this could be the fact
that commercials are attractive, interesting and eye-catching and it also hides their negative
aspects.

In a nutshell, it can be said that high sales of products only shows the miracle of advertisement.
But we cannot deny that the final decision is on the hands of us, the consumers. Everyone has
their own thinking capability that what they have to buy and which product is required them the
most. It should of no matter that how attractive the commercials are. We should be able to make
decisions on our own.

“SHOULD EUTHANASIA BE LEGALIZED? DISCUSS.”

God has provided us our life, the best souvenir we ever get. Everyone in this world wants to live
their whole life with joy, thrill, bliss, ecstasy. No one wants to die before their actual time of
death. But unfortunately it can’t be possible for most of the peoples. Some people get an easy
death but some of the people get a painful death. If the health of the patient gets deteriorates,
then they beg for their death. But some people believe that the god is the only one to decide the
life and death of anyone. No person has the right to make his mind up for the death. But some
people condemn. The majority of the people deem that the incurably ill person should have the
right end his or her suffering by their own wish. And some people call it as “life – terminated
treatment”. Euthanasia can be of two cases either active or passive. Passive euthanasia means to
die by preservation or moving back from all the supporting means. And active euthanasia means
intentional killing of the patient with or without his or her desire. Euthanasia is related to suicide
because it depends on people to choose how and when a human life should end, either their own
life or someone else who is unable to make the choice. There are certain pros and cons of mercy
killing which I will discuss in the further paragraphs.

In pros, I will say that mercy killing offers painless death to the victim. It is an easy termination
of the physical and emotional suffering. A person gets easily detached from the world, his family
and all emotions at once. A terminally ill people suffer for a long period on the hospitals bed. It
acquires a bed in the hospital which can be used by the needy patients. A lot of money is also
wasted on the patient who is incurable. Money goes in vain in just a hope to save a family
member. If the person is suffering from deadly diseases then the money spent on expensive
surgery, medicine and life support will be saved by the help of mercy killing. The patient’s
organs can be used to save other hopeful victims life. Their useless organs can have a new life in
another body. One dying person will be able to save the life of numerous sufferers. Euthanasia
helps to relieve pain and sufferings of the patient. It also eases the mental pressure of the
patient’s family. Americans enjoy a right guaranteed in the Declaration Human Rights that no
can be forced to suffer against his or her wish. It is considered as crimes to oblige someone to
live who doesn’t want to live any more. A person must have the right to decide his own life
whether he or she wants to proceed or quit. All terminally ill people would wish to avoid their
unbearable pain, so they must have the right to go for euthanasia. According to a survey, 70% of
the adults favor the mercy killing. Euthanasia is legalized in many of the countries such as
Netherland, the United States of America and so on. This country understands the pain of the
victims and passes the mercy killing as legal. In one line it can be said that the goal is to
eliminate or relieve suffering by an evil means of death.

In cons, I want to add that euthanasia is morally incorrect and should be banned at all. It will be a
form of murder under any circumstances of killing. These patients, whether having an incurable
disease, being elderly, or suffering in other ways, are crying out for help and love. They should

Level 0 Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology 2013

English for Academic Purposes (BMI012-4-0) Individual Assignment Page 8 of 27

not be gifted death but palliative care. Medical personnel, friends, family should be provided to
them. Euthanasia rests on the spiritual and physical well being of a person. It’s immortal for
Catholics and other religious beliefs. Protecting the life of a sick person is a message for the god
that we love each other and are living happily as their commands. We cannot do anything to our
body because it is not ours but of god. So, god must take it on his own desire. Euthanasia
demeans the purity of the life. It is also not allowable by the Bible. It shows lack of faith in god.
It discourages the patients and fades their hope to live anymore. It also disheartens the medical
scientists who are looking for the cure of the incurable diseases for a long time. And one of the
major reasons to pass over the euthanasia is that if it is allowed then many murders and killing
will be hidden under the name of euthanasia.

According to my opinion, Euthanasia must be legalized. It will help to realizing the individual
autonomy. It would be a holy work to remove the unbearable pain of the victims. Euthanasia
saves a lot of money and maintains the financial conditions. Mercy killing allows one to die with
their own desire, whenever they want. It will not let the person to wait for his death and feel the
intolerable pain. It will free up the rush and crowd in the hospitals and it will be easier for the
other hopeful patients to be survived. There will be no lines anywhere at the hospital, neither at
the blood bank and nor the medical shop. So, it will be better to judge the pain and twinge of the
victim and legalize the euthanasia.

In a nutshell, it is crystal clear that as every coin has two sides so, euthanasia also has some
advantages and disadvantages too. The decision rests in our hands whether to go for it or not.
The final decision would be in the Governments hand. Government must take severe actions
regarding this mercy killing and the result must be in the favor of humanity. Euthanasia can
either be beneficial as well as harmful too so, it should be handled with attention and
understanding. This single decision of the government can change the posture of the society.

Review on movie: “THE KARATE KID”

Story of the movie

Good morning one and all. I ‘shubham kumar singh’ is standing in front of you to carry on the
story of the movie, “the karate kid”. As my friend vivek explained that Dre gets shocked when
Han tells him that he will fight for the Kung Fu tournament. And who will be the teacher? Of
course, Mr. Han himself. He had refused to teach him earlier but then he agreed because it was a
challenge of Han too as well as the prestige of the real kung fu too.

Han begins training Dre but Dre soon gets frustrated as Han spends most of the time in taking off
his jacket, hanging it up, dropping it down and then putting it back on again. So, he refuses to
continue and claims Han to be a bad teacher. Then, Han demonstrates that the repetitive hand
movements in the jacket steps are a method of teaching defensive blocks and strike techniques.
He explains that kung fu lives in everything we do. It lives in how we put on the jacket. It lives
in how we take off the jacket. It also lives in how we treat the people. You know, kung fu is in
everything. Han emphasizes that the movements Dre is learning applies to life in general with
that serenity and maturity. Punches and powers are not the true keys to mastering the kung fu. It
is the power to spread peace not brutality.

Then, the practice continued for a long session. Now, let’s have a look on the training session
that is full of strong determination and will power.

One day, Mr. Han takes Dre to the Wudang Mountains to give him the lessons and to drink the
holy water. There Dre notices a female kung fu practitioner apparently coping the movements of
the cobra but Han informs him that it was the cobra that was imitating the woman as in the
mirror reflection. Actually guys, this style of kung fu is known as crane style kung fu which
needs a lot of practice and concentration. Dre requested to teach him this style, so Han links his
hands and legs with the bamboo shafts in order to practice the forms. And then he tells him that
his “focus needs more focus” to learn this crane style kung fu.

Here, Dre friendship with meiying continues. She agrees to attend the Dre’s tournament. One
day, Dre persuaded to cut off her school for fun. So, her parents forbid her spending any more
time with him.

One day, Dre finds Han deponent then he learns that it is his anniversary and the day when he
had lost his family in a car accident. Then, Dre teaches him a lesson that, “ life will knock down

us but we can choose whether or not to stand back up. So, Han helps him too in reading a
apology note in Chinese to meiying’s father.

At the tournament, Dre is very much under confident and slow to achieve parity with his
opponents. Han tells him that the rules are very simple, you just hit him and not let him hit you.
Later on, Dre begins to beat them and advances to semi-final as does cheng who violently
finishes off his opponents. Dre eventually come up against Liang, another student of master Li.
He had instructed him to break his legs, so he does the same. He delivers a devastating kick to
Dre’s leg and then a series of brutal follow up punches. Although Liang is disqualified for
breaking off the rules but the doctors informed that Dre can’t fight anymore which will result
Cheng as a winner by default.

Han insisted him that he has earned respect for his performance in the tournament. He tells that
you have proven everything you had to prove. But Dre doesn’t accepts to quit and convinces Han
to is fire cupping method to mend his leg. Then, Dre returns back to arena where he confronts
Cheng. Dre delivers some impressive blows but as he was injured so, Cheng counters back. Dre
struggles and finally he adopts the crane style technique which he had learned from the woman
of the wudang. He kicked his head and wins the tournament along with the respect of the cheng
and his classmates both for himself and Han too. The prestige of the real kung fu remains firm
too. This was the story of the movie.

Now, my friend Rashid will come forward to continue with the awards review and the box
office.

Thank you!

The Reading Skills Assignment

1.} “Keep the fire in you burning”

By- Swami Brahmdev ji maharaj

“Keep the fire in you burning “is written by Swami Brahmdev is a motivating article. In this
article he has precisely highlighted the worth of time management and the need of discipline in
our busy daily working life. He has also stressed on the importance of time table in order to have
a organized life. Without discipline our life cannot be on the true path and if once anyone get
diverted from his way then there always remains confusion that what to do first and what to do
next. Swami Brahmdev claims that unorganized life is a miserable life. Every person has to be
disciplined in turn to have a decent life. A disciplined person can discover their life more, can
live better, can do something good and can make their meaningful. Unorganized life leads the
way to hell and paradise can only be achieved by being organized and by following the order of
life. Brahmdev accentuate on the fact that discipline doesn’t mean to wake up early. And it is
important that we should have firm reason to wake up early otherwise waking up early will be
worthless. It will be better to sleep with clarity, with confidence, when we not need to get up. A
man who is undisciplined and is aimless becomes the victim of laziness, inertia and negativity.
These three are the termites that ruin the whole life by making it hollow. He has laid emphasis to
discover the inner strong fire to make out life useful and purposeful. A man must have the
hunger and urge of achieving the goal in him. He has also advised to be selfless to blaze the
internal fire. It is because a selfless person moves towards the goal with clarity.

It was truly an eye opening article for me. I learnt so many things from this article since it
published in “The Times of India”. The next morning I was feeble to ask myself the reason for
which I am waking in the morning? And I was bowled over as I had no answer. I stumble on but
could not get the answer. Yes, I have to work much harder on it. I have to keep the fire burning
inside me. I hadn’t prepared any time table before but now I am preparing a time table routine
and hope I will follow it. I must not let the three termites enter into me. I have to stay away from
the laziness, inertia and negativity otherwise my life will be ruined which I will never wants to
be. I think that grand success begins with a great idea and that great idea originates from the
inner fire of a human. I am trying my level best to cultivate these teachings in me. Now, I have a
specific reason to wake up early in the morning and whenever I get no purpose to get up early
then at least I sleep with poise and assurance. Hence, this article was very much enlightening for
me and hopes it brings me in the accurate path.

2.} SELFLESS TEACHING YEILDS RESULT

By- saint Ravinder Ji

God send some noble peoples to edify and teach the dimwits on the earth. They came to earth in
the form of true teachers and educators, being selfless spiritually elevated souls. Teaching is a
selfless service by the noble teachers. This article tells us about the saints, teacher’s dignified,
gracious and divine nature to enlighten the knowledge lamp. Saint Ravinder ji has elucidated it in
his article with the help of a motivating story. A king had five sons. All of the five were illiterate
and not interested in study at all. They didn’t even work seriously and not show any interest to
learn a single word. The king and the queen both were very much concerned about their sons.
After all, one of them had to succeed his father one day. Many teachers had tried to teach them
but all efforts were fruitless. Then they announced in the whole kingdom that anyone who could
nurture and educate their sons would be rewarded one half of the kingdom. One after the other
teachers, tutors, learned people and scholars tried their best to teach the five princes. But
everyone left futile. There was no effect on any of the princes. The princes denied learning a
single word. The king and queen were very disheartened. One day a teacher came and seeks the
permission to teach the princes. He tried some different ways to teach the princes. He used to tell
some interesting stories to them which entertain and grip them too. They enjoyed the stories a
lot. After four months, they had forgotten all the previous lessons. The stories were just for fun to
them. Now, this time the teacher tries another way to educate them. He orders them to retell the
stories to each other, else ways they wouldn’t be told any more stories. Thereafter, the boys
started listening to him deliberately. But this too shows less result. Finally, he took them to a
well and says them look at the pulley of rope with stone at one end and bucket at the other. If the
stone is dropped in the water, the bucket too will be pulled down. And he also focused them on
the rope that has made mark on the stone despite of being weaker than the stone. So, he
motivated to get a lesson from it and orders to recite the stories mentally again and again till they
remember each story. The stories should too make a mark on their mind as the rope did. This
lesson left a deep impression on their mindsets. Now, they were able to learn the stories and their
concentration power has enhanced too. The king gets jubilant and fulfilled and offered one half
of his kingdom but the teacher refused. He clarified that he joys from his teaching which is his
sole duty.

This article is very nice and exhilarating. The job of the great spiritual teachers is to help
wayward souls learn. They get the satisfaction by the success of their apprentice. Taking the
examples of Buddha, Guru nanak, Prophet Mohammad, Christ, Baba Sai, and many others who
were selfless and a great teachers for all. But my thinking stops to a point that in this of money,
everyone needs money. So a teacher needs too but they give their best to nourish the future of the
world.

3.} A PERSON SHOULD BE JUDGED BY HER TALENTS, NOT AGE : SUSHMA VERMA

By- Pratigyan Das

This article is all about the interrogation of Sushma Verma, a prodigious 13 –year old girl from a
poor family, by Pratigyan Das. She is a daughter of a daily wage laborer. She is in Lucknow now
and pursuing her post graduate degree in microbiology. Sushma Verma shared her happenings
with Pratigyan Das in which she articulates that she cleared the class tenth at the tender age of
seven years. It is just a wonder. She is academically gifted. On asked about her academics by
pratigyan Das, she exclaims that she had recited the Ramayana at the age of two. His brother
Shailendra is a prodigy too. He has cleared class tenth at the age of nine and finished his BCA at
the age of fourteen, becoming the youngest computer science graduate. Despite of being poor,
their family has two wonder and sensations. Sushma Verma gets inspired from his brother
Shailendra, and starts taking interest in books and used to study the books all the time. Then, she
started solving his brother’s question. So, she enrolled herself for class tenth at St. Mirza inter
college at Lucknow. Subsequently, Pratigyan asked the reason for her interest in Microbiology.
So, she informed that she gets fascinated by Microbiology at B.sc. level, after that she begin
inquiring about the Ramifications, the consequences of microbes contact to air etc. after
completing her B.sc. she signed up for M.sc. and finished her Ph.D. later at the age of seventeen.
Next she has decided to go for medicals. Then, Pratigyan asked about her feelings when she will
not be allowed to sit in the medical entrance exam as she is under aged. Sushma replied proudly
that there must not be any age limit for any entrance exam. She justified her words as if a child
has the potential then he or she must have the right to grab the opportunity. A very well said line
by Sushma that “A person should not be judged by age but should be judged by his or her talent
and potential. But rules can’t be changed for her so, she would have to wait till seventeen years
for medicals.

Apart from these achievements, she also faced a lot of problems and tribulations. As she belongs
from a poor family, she faced financial restrictions. She accepts herself to be god gifted girl. She
enlightens the fact that every child has much or less extra- ordinary qualities and persona. It
depends upon his or her nourishment from the very budding level. Sushma spots her future as a
doctor.

Sushma verma is just a unique personality. I am just amazed by her ability and talent. Yes, she is
a prodigy. But apart from all the gifts by god, she labors hard too. There is nothing possible
without hard work either you are a prodigious or a common person. I am very much agreed by
her words that a child shouldn’t be judged by age but by his or her talents as every child is
special. Sachin had joined the Indian cricket team when he was just sixteen. He was undervalued
because of his age, but now he is known as the God of the cricket. As she is a precocious girl, so
she must be involved in some effective and useful researches for mankind and nature too in her
future.

4.} PM TO RAHUL : CONNECT WITH TRAGEDIES

By- Narayani Ganesh

The article PM to Rahul: connect with tragedies by Narayani Ganesh is about the chat of the
prime minister with Rahul Gandhi. Although I dislike politics yet I decided to write upon is due
to its major consequences on the country. The author has put the everlasting message of
calmness, equanimity and other values of Bhagavad Gita in a very innovative way in terms of
dialogue between Manmohan Singh as Krishna and Rahul Gandhi as Arjuna. This is a
conversation between them at the time of election rally. Rahul showed his worries for his own
life as his grandfather, father has been killed and probably it’s his turn. Manmohan Singh rightly
advised him not to remember the past but to learn from it as it is mentioned in the western
Dharma. Dwelling on past hurts, and will do neither him nor the country any good. He suggest
him not to get emotional otherwise it would be became a chance for BJP to scream upon. It is up
to Rahul now to take it or not. He lacks maturity in every respect, content the way of deliver and
expression. Narayani Ganesh has evidently highlighted the immaturity of the young successor
both in terms of politics and philosophy of the life. Then, Rahul shows his fear of being hated by
the Indians. He is doing all this just to get sympathy of the people to garner votes. Manmohan
Singh tries to guide him by the example of Bhagavad Gita. He sets the example of a tortoise that
he withdraws his limbs in order to guard himself. He extracts his senses from the objects; his
intelligence is firm and balanced. So, by this example he tries to teach him to be calm and

confidence. He tells him to remain cool and unperturbed without shock and not get emotional
soon. Then, Manmohan reveals his secret of silence in front of him. He informs that he allows
the time for emotions to get stored out and not let the emotions control over his mindset.
Thereafter, he decides what to answer for the question being asked to him. He doesn’t make any
haste to take the decisions, he take his time and take the superior decision. Emanating happiness
and confidence will inspire people more than Rahul’s sadness and despair. He also taught a
shabad of the Guru Granth Sahib that hold your erratic mind and keep it in your own control.
Forget all of your pains and pasts will provide you infinite peace and calmness.

According to my view, the article by Narayani has put the prime minister on a very high pedestal
of not only a knowledgeable person but also a guru in real sense. The thinking of Manmohan is
really very sacred and advising to Rahul Gandhi to follow the certain rules of political life. What
our prime minister is narrating is a story of idealism. But the upcoming Prime minister is so
puzzled and baffled that he has no vision to take the country to regain its lost glory in the
upcoming years. But when I talk to the politics for congress, then there is nothing good in it.
They are the termites which are hollowing the economical, financial, and social condition of
India.

REFLECTION PAPER PHASE - 3

OBSERVATION OF LISTENING HABITS

My performance was diminishing day after the day. I was not able to notice the reason behind
my declining study. So, I decided to make a daily log on the basis of my listening habits at class,
at my room, at the mess or cafeteria, with family and my friends. I observed myself for two
whole weeks. I noticed a lot of problems in me which causes hindrance in my studies and my
behavior.

I used to be attentive in the first class but slowly my concentration goes on decreasing in the next
lectures. I was not able to concentrate myself after the lunch in the classroom. I tried my best to
concentrate in the classroom but not able to maintain the focus till the end of the day. I get bored
to attend the classes till evening. I even get yawned in the classroom which is a very habit. EEP
classroom is always noisy, so I face concentration problem in that lectures. I always listens the
mechanical lecture but feels bored after the half of the lecture. I get irritated by the buzzing
sound of the mess and cafeteria. After getting irritated, I don’t like to listens anyone. I rare to go
through the full movie as I always used to sleep during the movie. Sometimes, I used to gossip
with friends in the class of EEP. I used to listens music for refreshment but soon get annoyed by
the continuous music. I used to wake up late in the morning. I sleeps late in the night. These were
the problems that I noticed in me during these two weeks.

Then, I take certain measures to correct these problems in me. I used to do a lot of meditation in
order to stabilize my concentration power. It helped me to remain attentive in the class. I didn’t
get yawned at all in the class. My mood gets refreshed after the meditation. I also do a lot of
yoga in the morning at the devil al park near my hostel. I get full attentive in all the lectures.
Now, the music’s cheers me a lot and energizes me too. He started taking a well sleep of about
seven hours at night in order to remain fresh and focused in the class. Now, I watched the movie
with full attention. I responded the early calls from my parents too.

Thus, I changed my listening habits and behavior too. May hope that these skills and
amendments brings some good in my life.

PHASE- 3

SECTION – D PHASE – 3

Comparison between two speakers

BARACK OBAMA AND ABRAHAM LINCOLN

I listened to the Barack obama and Abraham Lincoln carefully. Barack obama is the current
president of America and Abraham Lincoln is the former president of America. Barack Obama is
an amazing leader and many of his strong qualities are comparable with those of other great
leaders throughout history. Abraham Lincoln is a good speaker too. So, people he always used
to compare with him with Lincoln, the sixteenth president of United States. So, I compared his
speaking qualities with Abraham Lincoln. Now, I will discuss their qualities of speaking in the
following paragraphs.

Barack Obama is an inspiring speaker. He always used to motivate the listeners by putting some
perfect and nice examples. He doesn’t mix up with up with his own words while delivering his
speech. I says straight forward whatever he wants to convey to the listeners. One of his skill is
very much similar to the former president Abraham Lincoln. They both used to get straight to the
topics either it is hard or simple and maintains the feeling of the national unity in the listener’s
mind too as Lincoln used to do. This amazing quality is similar to both of the speakers. There is
always a eye contact with the listeners during his speech. There is no doubt in it that he has a
very clear, fluent and impressive voice. Listener doesn’t able move his years during listening his
speech. These were the qualities of the Barack Obama’s speech.

Now, it is the turn for the great speaker and former president of America. He is Abraham
Lincoln. He is a nice speaker. Lincoln's mastery of the speech is not explained by the education.
He is a master speaker. He creates a entertaining and enjoyable speech in front of the listeners.
The reason behind his great speech is that he is a great observer and reader too. More
interestingly, I think that he is literary artist. He is also so much inspiring. And the quality that he
also get straight forward to any problem and topic of the speech.

But, I like Barack’s obama’s speech the most because he is a speaker of the modern age and
inspiring too. He motivates me a lot and listens to him always.
