The speaker during the lecture about the Solid waste management was nice in expressing his

thoughts and ideas, he involved the audience about his chosen topic about the environment. Mr. Regie
Sioco introduce the law which is RA 9003 or the ecological solid waste management act of 2000,
he explains this law to the audience and gave us insights and knowledge on what is the purpose
and importance of this as an individual living in this state. He also introduces to all of us the
different types of waste. The residual, non-biodegradable, recyclable etc. On what is the
importance of this that needs to be differentiated, he also commands us to pick some waste around
Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center and asked for other students to volunteer on what is the
type of waste did we catch around the park. When the lecture about environment was strikingly
beyond the time and lots of numbers of students are sleeping, the speaker asked the audience to
volunteer and perform a song for the purpose of being actively participate in the activity. He was
successful in doing this because many students participated well when that activity happens. The
speaker was good in delivering his lectures towards us, he caught our attentions also but when time
goes by some of the students are sleeping and feels boring to the activity. But at the end of the
activity and the lecture, I gain a lot of knowledge on what is the purpose and importance of this
RA 9003, the separation of different types of waste and that we are responsible for applying this
on our lives for making our country better in order for us to reduce the problems about unexpected
calamities, it makes me also more disciplined to myself and encourage me more to give importance
to the law. I figure out that we are the one who will do an action to make this country improve.
