II. Background and Rationale

Our project is waste disposal and we are going to provide an recycling bin that have a sign
biodegradable, and non-biodegradable and cans. Our project will can help to the people in that place to
avoid many waste, garbage and to maintain cleanliness in that area. And it can also a sign to maintain of
being responsible and discipline to the people who would like to visit in that beach.

Waste management are all the process involved with managing waste both solid and liquid from its
inception to it’s final disposal. The problem of efficiently managing waste is a global one which means it
is up to every individual to discuss the need for efficiency in a bid to raise awareness on its effect on
earth’s ecosystem.

Waste disposal is one of the most important I industries in the world. Without waste disposal, the
massive production industries produce too much and quickly destroy the environment. This is apparent
when you consider how improper waste disposal affects the environment. If you want a better
understanding of why waste disposal is so important, here’s a brief look at the affects of improper waste
disposal.
1.Land Pollution- land pollution happens whenever waste ends up on soil or other land that people
should process instead. This garbage doesn’t just sit there the contents break down, whether by rotting
or time and seep into the area around it. This means the dirt and all surroundering areas absorb the
pollution and become dangerous for people and animals.

2.Water Pollution- whatever waste doesn’t go into landfills or other disposal areas usually finds it’s way
into the ocean or other bodies ot water. It then breaks down into the ocean, slowly contaminating the
water and choking out the life that water hosts.

The Advantages of Waste Disposal

The main benefits of effective waste disposal include: Environmental protection from pollution or
contamination. Money generation companies may buy recyclable materials due to their value.
Additionally, the waste disposal in industry creates employment opportunities.

III. Description of the Problem

Our problem is all about “Waste Disposal” in Barangay Canmoros. The problem is the garbage
doess not in a proper place like plastics, cans, bottles, and etc. is spreading everywhere. They are
irresponsible and no discipline for in a proper waste disposal. It can also the people who live in that
place/area will be affected on the garbage because it Is the pollution to air. The air doesn’t give a fresh
air and the water also is unclean cause of garbage. So that, we are proposed the project “waste disposal”
because the problem is garbage were not only the people who live in that place are well being aware but
be responsible and have a discipline for what they ddoin
IV. Project Technical Description/Solutions

Proper waste disposal and management can be done by applying also the 3R- Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle. Reducing means lessening the amount of trash/garbage produced. Reusing refers to using
materials more than once while recycling means creating new material or product out of trash/garbage.
This proper solid waste management also protects citizens from biohazards and physical harm, nurtures
community health, promotes sanitation, and provides opportunities to earn money from recycling. Also
proper waste disposal can save the environment and the earth. Besides releasing waste, think about its
disposal too. With the increasing awareness of the importance of environmental protection and the
sustainable development of the earth, the topic of waste disposal is of great concern to people. Some of
way to help our community in solving improper waste disposal is reducing waste, banning plastic bags,
separate wastes at the source, making, compost, changing organic waste to fertilizer, reuse what you
can, recycling turns waste into a resource, waste collection, transport, and storage, starting a community
resource recovery center and last enter our story contest

V. Project Objectives and Expected Outcomes

*Raise awareness of every resident,in proper waste disposal.

*Stop spreading waste to our environment.

*Help each other to improve the cleanliness of our environment.

*Encourage the people in Barangay Canmoros to be responsible in throwing the garbage on the right
place.

*Make this fun and enjoyable to do this activities.

*Help each other to involved in every activities about the cleanliness and proper waste disposal.

VI. Project Target Beneficiaries and Stakeholders

The beneficiary on this project is the resident in Barangay Canmoros. The benefits of our
project can help to maintain the clean and proper waste disposal.

We sustain our project through the help of every individual or resident in Barangay Canmoros. We
are planning this project in Barangay Canmoros because we see the problem of improper waste disposal
when the time that we already there so, we thinking any solution that will benefits to the resident there
and we think that our project proposal are suited to this problem. To those who where live in that area
and we together do this activities to help people having a discipline and as being responsible for caring
our environment and for what they doing.
