C. Project Design:
Project Description:
This project aims to provide garbage bins in each purok of Barangay Gumalang. The
garbage bins will be designated in the road side of each purok with the permission of the
household near in the designated area. Sidewalk trash bins are essential to health and
function of the purok. The presence of trash bins along streets will result in a healthier
more aesthetically pleasant environment. This project would not only help the reduction of
waste but also help the community economically through livelihood project.
The purpose of this project is to involve the community in proper waste management
in order to solve the problem of uncollected waste especially those waste in sidewalks.
This project also aims to let the community cooperate, practice, participate, and let be a
part of their daily activities.

Project Objectives:
1. To provide trash bins in every purok for proper throwing of garbage.
2. To minimize the production of waste.
3. To maintain the proper disposal of waste.
4. To promote livelihood project.
 Sustainability Plan:
First, we will conduct a seminar about proper waste disposal and a training for livelihood
project like making of pillows, flower path and wallet made of trash. Then, the youth leaders
together with their members will closely monitor the proper implementation of this advocacy.
They will also be the one to collect those recyclable waste for livlihood project.

D. IMPACTS:
To the Community:
People can throw their garbages by the provided trash bins in our roadside. Also,
they can earn money through livelihood project. Through this, we can avoid the risk of
diseases.
To the Environment:
This project would help address the reduction of waste which will lead to a neat
and tidy environment.
To the Advocacy:
If properly implemented the advocacy will be a great success through the
participation of the community.
