RATIONALE

Rizal Technological University is a place where students can feel safe, comfortable and
conducive for learning. It is also a place of outstanding professors who can bridge the students towards
the desired dreams in life. RTU should be a place where environment cannot be harmful to its
stakeholders. Serious health concern is one of the controversial topics in our country today and this is
really in dire need of prompt attention. The population of our University is quiet bigger; the wastes from
each individual can be a great contributor of the serious environmental and health problems if we do
not give attention to that.
With this point of view, the concerned units are enthusiastically elevating our plans into action
to address the above mentioned concerns. This Clean and Green Project will be the avenue for the
University to seriously pay attention to safety and wellness of different stakeholders through the
initiative of the concerned units.

OBJECTIVES

RED to GREEN: REDuce Ecological Footprints towards a GREEN University (Clean and Green
