IX. RATIONALE OF THE
PROJECT
• The project proposal of the community
engagement and solidarity will be
implemented in Barangay Lusacan, Tiaong,
Quezon. This project will be taken in this
location because we want to help the
community awareness in having a and safe
environment.
X. OBJECTIVES
• The main objective of our project is to
promote the cleanliness and a healthier life.
The cleanliness gives us a good mind, soul
and peace. The community sanitary and
peaceful sustaining cleanliness is an
essential part of a fit living since this help to
improve one's personality by means of
keeping it clean externally and internally.
On the other hand, staying healthy
physically can keep you healthy emotionally
too.
XI. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
• The last year has been one for the record books, and things may never be quite the same. But while the
world was gripped by the Covid-19 pandemic, we couldn't help but feel inspired by the way the global
community came together to address the crisis. People everywhere masked up, worked from home, learned
how to use Zoom, gained new appreciation for essential workers, spent holidays away from loved ones, and
did what they could to help and support each other.

Health and safety were of paramount importance, and we at One Tree Planted worked together with our
planting partners to ensure that everyone was taking the necessary precautions to reduce the spread of the
virus. But while we were all affected in both our personal lives and professional environments, we couldn't help
but make the connection to the health of our planet.
And now that mass vaccination programs are rolling out and restrictions are easing in countries
around the world, many of us are thinking about what environmental work will look like in a post-pandemic
world. Because as the Coronavirus slowly subsides as a global threat, climate change is only getting more
intense and just as we all came together to address the virus, so too must we come together in force to address
the crisis of a rapidly changing climate
XI. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
• 1. Keep Calm and Plant Trees

Reforestation has been recognized as a top climate change solution, and now more than ever we
need to work together to restore forests around the globe. When native trees are planted in the right
places, they help address climate change by sequestering carbon in their roots, trunks and branches.
They also increase climate change resilience by reducing ambient temperatures, slowing the flow of
water through landscapes, absorbing pollutants, holding the soil together, providing food and habitat
for biodiversity, and more

• 2. Create A New Carbon Baseline

Decreased air travel may not have been great for the airline industry, but it was good for nature
and demonstrated how quickly we could reduce carbon emissions if we treated climate change like
the crisis it is. As the world begins to open back up, resist the urge to fly to all the places and consider
traveling more sustainably if you can.
XII.STRATEGIES AND METHODS

• The strategy that we are going to pursue is to talk with the

planita's at plantitos (Those who love plants) and ask for
their help on this project. Almost every household want to
take care of a plant/tree so we are taking advantage of this
trend. We will also ask about the Local Government Office
and ask for assistance in order to execute this plan well and
also to maintain the proper social distancing and the safety
of our fellow citizens. People who live near the target are will
be asked to take care of the plants/trees planted and they
will be given appropriate pay.
XIII. PLAN OF ACTION

• We will go to the Brgy. Hall to get permission to plant our

trees into that specific area. We'll plant those trees and ask
those who lives nearby to atleast check those plants. We will
gradually check the conditions of the plants in order for it to
grow healthy. And as time pass by those trees will grow and
our efforts will be acknowledge.
• Budget Requirements Cost
of 2 Rambutan trees (150
XIV. each) Cost of 1 Coconut
FINANCIA tree(100) Cost of 3
mahogani trees (50 each)
L PLAN Pay for team boys and girls
at 150 for snacks.
XV.MEASURING AND EVALUATING
MECHANICS OF THE PROJECT
• In order to assess the effectiveness of the project program,
The trees growth monitored from time to time. The
Caretakers would track the changes in the plants' condition,
what it needs and what should we do about it. To ensure the
healthy growth of the plants, the assigned caretakers will
consistently check the plants' condition and needs in order to
plan some countermeasures immediately.
XVI. PLANS TO ENSURE THE
SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROJECT

• To ensure the sustainability of the project, the group will assign someone
who will check the plants consecutively.
• Sustainable tree planting means proper tree selection, placement, and
care are given to a newly planted tree ensuring it. We will also ask the
nearby households to look for the trees. In order to properly sustain this
project We included the following: Researching a particular species and
its growth habit before you determine a tree’s location.
• Ensuring a tree will have adequate root space and a healthy soil. (Trees
surrounded by concrete survive around 20 years, and trees surrounded
by organic matter can live to their full life expectancy.)
• Selecting quality trees with a proper-sized root ball, a strong branching
habit, and healthy foliage (or healthy buds in the dormant season)
• Providing sufficient maintenance during the establishment period.
