Environmental Program” in the location of PCEHS Library that many teachers also the
other visitors/participants who cooperate with us to build this program here we are the
City Government of Pasay, and the City Cooperative Development Office who will
make partner with us Pasay City East High School. However, this seminar also lives
on social media, which is Facebook, that many people can still watch and give them
an idea of how this program works.
Before we started the program, we prepared for this seminar that many
teachers and participants are preparing and organizing this seminar. The technical
people are also preparing for live streaming on Facebook to prepare that many
people are waiting for this program to listen and learn something about urban
gardening.
Many people are registered for this program to become participants in our
seminar and listen to some knowledge about taking care of our environment at the
school and with their backyard. The registration form is one of the reasons to join the
seminar and cooperate during the workshop to have some knowledge and inspire
them with others. With this picture, we have some social distance to avoid contact
with other participants and safely secure our health.
For this session, the preliminaries are one of the opening or introduction of
this seminar. This is always included in other workshops. First, we conduct the
introduction of the hosts are, Mr. Moniquo A. Santos and his partner Mrs. Maricar L.

song, Opening Prayer, and to be followed by Pasay Hymn. This will also include in
the PowerPoint presentation because some of the participants are in the webinar,
and they can follow the preliminaries with our program.

Assistant Principal, Mr. Diosdado Rosales, has a brief explanation about the
participation and partnership of other local governments about the program.

knowledge that they can teach us how to make raft gardening in aquaponics using
recycled materials that can help the environment. Aquaponics is one of the easiest
ways to make sure the fish are healthy and have good harvesting because you can
feed them with your ponds. This topic will give us more intellectual and
comprehensive knowledge about the environment.
For this picture, Mr. Jesus Raquiza Jr. demonstrates how to transplant the seedlings
into styro cups. The students can make this demonstration, but with the help of the
parents or the teachers who will participate in this program because of some tools,
they used in the Demonstration on Seminar. The young students will have a good
background and experience with some urban gardening because they can apply and
learn how to take care of the environment. This demonstration is knowledgeable and
informative for those who want to learn more about urban gardening by using some
recycled materials or styro cups. Mr. Raquiza Jr. demonstrates the step-by-step and

has a question for the speakers “What would be materials and tools that students
can use with their urban gardening or some substitute with some tools if it’s
expensive for the students?” Mr. Nadua answered the question that they can help
some students or teachers who will need some tools and materials for urban
gardening that they have a partnership with other schools, barangays that’s why they
conduct this program to help and teach with the students who are interested in
planting and urban gardening to help our environment to grow. They need to request
with the DOST and other organizations about environmental use.
