VI. RATIONALE
Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) is a program of Comprehensive Drugs Act of
2022 which is designed as preventive education and information platform to
counteract the ill effects of illegal addictive drugs to the young one. It aims to enable
an individual to be the agent within peer groups in advocating healthy and drug-free
lifestyle thru involvement in various wholesome activities. These peer group
organized to provide and support school activities that promote awareness and
intervention to drug abuse and its related issues. This group also support the
projects of the community and its local government with the same objective. With
this, the BKD Program of Banisilan National High School establishes a Barkada
Kontra Droga Officers as a Support group that will help in implementing various BKD
programs in the school campus.
A classroom based Barkada Kontra Droga Officers is one of the support
groups under BKD, the flagships program of the National Drug Education Program
(NDEP). It aims to develop the young to become agent against drug addiction
through active participation in the different school wide BKD activities.

VII. GOALS/OBJECTIVES
A. Goal: Develop leadership among the youth through active involvement on the
various activities implemented within the school campus.
B. Objectives
This activity aims to:
 Increase participation and camaraderie among the members.
 Encourage innovative and creative skills of the members through
participation in various activities.
VIII. ACTIVITY
Election of Classroom based BKD Officers is the very first step of organizing
student leaders in order to form a BKD sub group in the school. The elected officers
will support, facilitate and legislate other activities under the Barkada Kontra Droga in
the school.

IX. COMPOSITION
Each section will elect its BKD Officers following these positions.

a. President
b. Vice-President
c. Secretary
d. Treasurer
e. Auditor
f. P.I.O
X. METHODOLOGY
1. Each section will elect its BKD Officers compose of 6 positions in the morning
during the first period of the class on October 11, 2023 to be facilitated by the
Class Adviser.
Note: Adviser/s must secure a furnish copy to be given to their Grade Level
chairman and inform the elected officers to attend the Grade Level Election after
the last period in the afternoon. Venue will be arranged by the Grade Level
Chairman.
2. The Grade Level Chairman will gather the elected officers in each section to be
assisted by the SSLG Grade Level Representative and COMEA and elect the set
of officers in their respective Grade Level following the given position stipulated
above (See Part VII. Composition).

Note:
1. The Grade Level Chaiman will secure documents (Attendance, Official Result
of Election and photos) to be collected by the Commission on Election and
Appointment (COMEA). Template will be provided by the BKD Adviser, Mr.
Ver-Dan B. Anotado
2. Inform the elected officers per grade Level to attend the Orientation on
October 13, 2023 at Grade 11-Benardos, SHS Building at exactly 2:00 PM.
XI. MONITORING AND EVALUATION
These activities will be monitored by BKD Adviser, Ver-Dan B. Anotado, COMEA
Adviser, Myra V. Salinas and the officers and members of SSLG and COMMEA.
