I. TITLE: STUDENT PORTAL FOR ONLINE GRADES

IV. BACKGROUND/RATIONALE:
Last school year distance learning had been a great challenge on all areas in
education. From sending out SLMs, retrieval, and checking. Another problem that we
faced is the school feedbacking to the students particularly distributing the cards. It
posed a lot of difficulties since there guidelines that we needed to follow with the IATF.
Adding to this, are the sudden implementation of stricter community quarantine
systems.
The teachers usually send out grades by taking a photo of the card and sending
it by Facebook messenger. This is a very challenging and time consuming for the
teachers since he/she will have to take pictures of all the students and send it one by
one. Not to mention the students who will ask multiple times for the copy of their
cards.
With this, I would like to propose to use the Internet Resource in order to send
the grades of the students online. We will use a platform that will serve as a portal for
the students to access their grades. Relative to this, the parents can also look into the
grades of their children and will create an instant reporting of the students progress
from the teacher to the parents. This portal will be open 24/7 7 days a week so the
learners or parents can access anytime they want. The program will run in the
following stages:

 1) Orientation with the advisers and teachers on how to use the system.
a. Creating the report cards
b. Encoding the Grades
2) Orientation of the students on how to use the system.
3) Conduct of the program
With all of these in place, grade reporting to the parents will be efficient since
they have an established portal that the parents can visit to see the progress of their
child. All the school needs to do is to announce that the grades for a certain quarter is
already posted on their respective accounts.

1) Established an online portal for students to access their own grades.
2) Created an open communication thru reporting of grades to the parents.
