School Year 2020-2021

I. Project Title: School Beautification Project


Repainting of School Walls and Perimeter Fence

II. Project Description:

A well-maintained school provides a safe and attractive learning environment for


students. School beautification projects, however, can offer much more than physical
improvements to the school buildings and grounds. Through cleaning and painting the outside
and inside of the school and by planting new flowers and shrubs, the students can take advantage
of educational, personal development and community building opportunities.

The Sta. Ines Elementary School Beautification Project contributes to achieve


Environment Friendly School focusing mainly with its purpose to promote the clean, green,
beautification program in support to a Child and Environment Friendly School in partnership
with the Local Government Unit and other stakeholders.

III. TAP (Situation)

 What was the issue or challenge?

The need to enhance the environment in the public elementary school and in all
areas of its jurisdiction.

 What are the practices to address this issue, if any?

The adaptation of the feature of Child-Friendly School Environment.

 What was your objective to the project?

Formulate, propose, and implement a School Environment Policy that will serve as guide and
tool in developing skills and understanding among pupils and parents in initiating active
responses and increasing community awareness and participation on environmental issues.

 How did you implement the project?

The school conducted the project launching and conducted orientation,


information dissemination and awareness in various activities to be undertaken relative to
the implementation of the project.

 Who did you engage with and how did you mobilize them?

All stakeholders shall be tapped for financial support on the implementation of the
project.

IV. Gantt Chart or Timeline:

1. Planning
o Dialogue with the School Head for suggestions, comments and recommendations.
o Prepare project innovation proposal
o Submission of project innovation proposal for approval of the Schools Division
Superintendent.
2. Implementation proper – as per approved by the Schools Division Superintendent
o Launching of Project
o Conduct orientation, information dissemination and awareness campaign on the
various activities to be undertaken relative to the implementation of the project.
3. Monitoring and Evaluation (October 2020-June 2021)
o Pre-Evaluation (2nd week of October 2021)
o Final Evaluation (1st week of June 2021)

V. Evidence of Transformation:

 What were the outputs and outcomes?

Developed environmental policy for the school; physical cleanliness, orderliness


and beautification of the school.

Through this project, a School Environment Policy was formulated, proposed and
implemented which served as guide and tool in developing skills and understanding
among pupils and parents in initiating active responses and increasing community
awareness and participation on environmental issues.

 Were the results satisfactory?

The results of the project were very satisfactory with the positive response from
different stakeholders.

 What were the feedback and response from your teachers, learners and the community?

The teachers reinforced positive feedback by enumerating the strengths of the


projects and some weaknesses to work with. The learners were very indulging in the
result of the project since they were able to enjoy the outcome.

VI. Critical Reflections:


 What were the key learning points?
Some of the key learning points of the project were as follows:
1. Environmental Policy of the school.
2. Proper Waste Disposal and Management.
3. Level of involvement of stakeholders to the success of the project.

 What would you do differently?


Be creative in choosing resources and to learn how to inspire independent
learning.

 What are your future plans to continue transforming the school?

Create and execute a goog strategic plan that can improve student outcomes, keep
great teachers, enhance the reputation of school leadership and transform the school to
the betterment of the stakeholders.
