NARRATIVE REPORT
BRIGADA CLEAN UP DRIVE

The success of a school is determined by a wide range of factors ranging from

the quality of teaching, the punctuality and attendance rate, even the cleanliness of school
classrooms and surrounding. Thus, maintaining a clean and safe school surrounding plays a
vital role on pupils’ performance. It is the responsibility of each school to maintain a clean and
safe school environment for the pupils not only for their performance but also with pupils’ health.
Specially now, number of dengue cases increases that’s why the DepEd Pampanga launched a
Divisionwide Brigada Clean-up Drive last January 19, 2018 which aims to prevent pupils’ from
acquiring diseases like dengue and helps maintain a clean and safe school surrounding.

In line with this, Sto.Rosario Elementary School conducted the said activity led
by our school head with the help of our PTA Officers, parents, teachers and Barangay Officials.
The clean-up drive started at around 1:00 pm and ended at 3:00 pm. Everyone joined hands in
cleaning the school starting from the classrooms then with the surrounding. They swept, cut and
weed the grasses and disposed all things where the mosquitoes rest.
