I. OBJECTIVES This is an introductory that leads to a Computer Systems Servicing National Certificate Level II (NC II) . It covers seven (7) common competencies that a student ought
to possess: 1) Application of quality standards, 2) computer operations; 3) performing mensuration and calculation; 4) preparation and interpretation of technical drawing; 5) the use of
hand tools; 6) terminating and connecting electrical wiring electronics circuits; and 7) testing electronics components; and four (4 )core competencies namely, installing and configuring
computer system, 2) setting up computer networks, 3) setting up computer servers, and 4) maintaining and repairing computer systems and networks.
A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of concepts and underlying principles in performing computer operations.

B. Performance Standard The learners shall be able to perform computer operations based on a given task.

C. Learning Competency/ The learners:

Write the LC code for each. 6.1 implement procedures for ensuring security of data, including regular backups and virus checks in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
6.2 implement basic file maintenance procedures in lie with the standards operating procedures.

II. CONTENT  Computer maintenance

- Disk cleanup
- Checking disk error
- Replacement of consumables
- Dusting external and internal part of the computer

IV. LEARNING RESOURCES Use books/internet relevant to the Technical Vocational Livelihood – Computer System Servicing Manual and exploring technological learning aids to enable learners to have others
resources that lead to their understanding and practical experiences.
